ESPN Sunday Night Baseball: Yankees-Red Sox Delivers Highest-Rated Telecast of 2013
The August 18 edition of ESPN's Sunday Night Baseball presented by Taco Bell, in which the New York Yankees defeated the Boston Red Sox 9-6 in an action-packed game, delivered a 2.5 overnight rating, according to Nielsen. This marks the highest-rated Sunday Night Baseball telecast on ESPN of the 2013 season. Additionally, the 2.5 rating is up 25 percent from a 2.0 for last year's comparable Sunday Night Baseball telecast, which was also a Yankees-Red Sox game (8/19/12).
