UNIVERSAL CITY, Calif. - November 12, 2013 - NBC has tied for #1 in adults 18-49 for the primetime week of Nov. 4-10, led by top-10 ratings from "Sunday Night Football," the Monday and Tuesday editions of "The Voice" and "The Blacklist." According to "live plus same day" viewing figures from Nielsen Media Research for the week, NBC averaged a 2.7 rating, 8 share in adults 18-49 and 8.5 million viewers overall.

NBC has now finished #1 or tied for #1 during six of seven weeks this season, finishing #2 only once during a week in which Fox carried World Series coverage on four of seven nights.

"Sunday Night Football" is #1 for the week among primetime programs on ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox in adults 18-49, as well as total viewers, adults 18-34, adults 25-54, kids 2-11, teens 12-17, all key adult-male demos and women 18-34 and 18-49.

In adults 18-49, "Sunday Night Football" ranked #1, Monday's "Voice" was #5, Tuesday's "Voice" tied for #6 and "The Blacklist" tied for #9. "The Blacklist" was the week's #1 first-year series on the Big 4 nets and tied with CBS's "NCIS" as the #1 drama. Rankings exclude sports pre- and post-game shows.

Through seven weeks of the new season, NBC ranks #1 among ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox in adults 18-49 and is also #1 in adults 18-34, men 18-49 and 25-54 and women 18-34 and 18-49 and is currently tied for #1 among those networks in adults 25-54 and men 18-34.

In total viewers, NBC ranks #2 for the season, its highest total-viewer ranking seven weeks into the season in 11 years (since 2002).

NBC's season average of 9.6 million viewers is its biggest overall audience seven weeks into the season in seven years (since 2006, 10.3 million). Versus one year ago, NBC is up 10% season to date in total viewers (9.6 million vs. 8.6 million).

Primetime averages for the week of Nov. 4-10 in adults 18-49 are: CBS, 2.7/8; NBC, 2.7/8; ABC, 2.0/6; Fox, 1.4/4; and CW, 0.7/2. In overall total viewers, the weekly averages were: CBS, 11.4 million; NBC, 8.5 million; ABC, 7.9 million; Fox, 3.8 million; and CW, 1.6 million.

Season-to-date averages are: NBC, 3.1/9; CBS, 2.8/8; Fox, 2.5/7; ABC, 2.5/7; and CW, 0.8/2. In overall total viewers, the season averages are: CBS, 12.0 million; NBC, 9.6 million; ABC, 8.7 million; Fox, 7.6 million; and CW, 1.9 million.

NBC highlights for the week of Nov. 4-10:

Monday: NBC finished #1 Monday night in adults 18-49 among the Big 4 by a 48% margin (with a 3.4/9 average vs. a 2.3/6 for #2 Fox), with "The Voice" (3.6 rating, 9 share in adults 18-49, 11.7 million viewers overall from 8-10:01 p.m. ET) ranking #1 for the night on those nets in 18-49 and finishing #1 in the time period among ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox in every key demographic.

"The Blacklist" (2.9/8 in adults 18-49, 10.3 million viewers overall f rom 10:01-11 p.m. ET) ranked #1 in the hour among ABC, CBS and NBC in adults 18-49 and other key demographics, with an adult 18-49 margin of 32% versus ABC's #2 "Castle" (2.9 vs. 2.2). "The Blacklist" is also the #1 drama of the night in 18-49. Versus NBC's averages in the slot last season, last night's "Blacklist" is up 45% in 18-49 (2.9 vs. 2.0, L+SD non-sports) and up 80% in total viewers (10.3 million vs. 5.7 million).

"Live Plus Three Day": "The Blacklist" has set a new record for biggest "live plus three day" increase in U.S. television history in total viewership, with the Nov. 4 telecast growing by 5.427 million persons (from 10.337 million viewers in "live plus same day" to 15.764 million in L+3). The 53% lift is the biggest percentage increase to date for "The Blacklist" in total viewers. Blacklist now has 5 of the top 6 biggest L+3 increases in U.S. broadcast history in total viewers. In L+3, "Blacklist" is up week-to-week in total viewers for each of the last three weeks. Its L+3 viewer lifts are also up week to week for each of the last three weeks.

In adults 18-49, the Nov. 4 "Blacklist" delivered the show's biggest L+3 gains to date on both a percentage basis and by rating point, adding 68% or 1.95 rating points to its L+SD 18-49 rating (to a 4.81 in L+3 from a 2.86 in L+SD). In L+3, "Blacklist" is up week-to-week in 18-49 for a fourth week in a row. "Blacklist's" L+3 increases are also up week to week both in rating point and on a percentage basis for each of the last four weeks.

Tuesday: NBC finished #1 Tuesday night among ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox in adults 18-49, giving the network seven wins on the season's first seven Tuesday for the first time in the history of Nielsen's current People Meter sample, dating back to 1983.

"The Biggest Loser" (2.1/6 in 18-49, 6.8 viewers overall from 8-9 p.m.) jumped 17% week to week in 18-49 rating (to a 2.1 from a 1.8) and by 13% in total viewers (6.8 million vs. 6.1 million). These are three-week highs for "Loser," best since its season premiere hit a 2.3/7 and 7.2 million viewers on Oct. 15. "The Biggest Loser" grew half-hour to half-hour in every key category, including a gain of 10% in adults 18-49 (to a 2.2 from a 2.0). "The Biggest Loser" finished #1 in the time period among ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox in women 18-34.

"The Voice" (3.4/9 in 18-49, 11.3 million viewers overall from 9-11 p.m. ET) is the #1 show of the night in adults 18-49 and other key measures. The two-hour "Voice" won the slot among ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox in every key demographic.

Wednesday: "Revolution" (1.4/4 in 18-49, 5.2 million viewers overall from 8-9 p.m. ET) matched its 18-49 rating of the prior three weeks. The last time "Revolution" topped this week's 1.4 was when it earned a 1.5 on Oct. 9. In total viewers, the Nov. 6 "Revolution" scored a three-week high (5.2 million, up 7% vs. last week's 4.9 million) with its biggest overall audience since Oct. 16. L+3: The Nov. 6 "Revolution" added 54% or 0.79 of a point to its next-day "live plus same day" 18-49 rating (to a 2.23 in L+3 from a 1.44 in L+SD) and in total viewers, added 41% or 2.127 million persons (7.335 million vs. 5.208 million.

The 0.79 increase going from last week's L+SD to L+3 rating is "Revolution's" biggest 18-49 lift of the season, giving the show its top L+3 rating in five weeks (since Oct. 2).

From 9-10:01 p.m. ET, "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" (1.5/4 in 18-49, 5.7 million viewers overall) grew versus its prior original by 7% in 18-49 rating (1.5 vs. 1.4 on Oct. 23) and by 2% in total viewers (5.7 million vs. 5.5 million). "SVU" increased its rating half-hour to half-hour in every key measure. L+3: The Nov. 6 "Law & Order: SVU" added 54% or 0.83 of a point to its next-day "live plus same day" 18-49 rating (to a 2.37 in L+3 from a 1.54 in L+SD) and in total viewers, added 37% or 2.069 million persons (7.721 million vs. 5.652 million).

The 0.83 increase going from last week's L+SD rating to L+3 is the second biggest ever for "Law & Order: SVU" behind the 0.90 for this season's premiere.

From 10:01-11 p.m. ET, a Wednesday "Dateline NBC" (1.1/3 in 18-49, 4.4 million viewers overall) grew half-hour to half-hour by 10% in adults 18-49 (to a 1.1 rating from a 1.0), by 8% in adults 25-54 (1.4 vs. 1.3) and by 8% in total viewers (4.6 million vs. 4.2 million), despite airing in the 10 p.m. hour.

Thursday: NBC tied its highest Thursday 18-49 average of the season (1.9), with "Sean Saves the World" equaling its series high in 18-49 and setting a new high in total viewers and "Parenthood" (1.3/4) matching a five-week high in 18-49 (equaling its best since Oct. 3). Keying these gains was a Thursday live telecast of "The Voice" (2.5/7 in 18-49, 9.7 million viewers overall from 8-9:01 p.m.) which reported NBC's highest non-sports rating in the time period in the past year, since another Thursday "Voice" earned a 3.0 in the slot on Nov. 8, 2012. The Thursday "Voice" also delivered NBC's top total-viewer result in the hour, excluding sports, since April 2, 2009, the night of the "ER" series finale.

"Sean Saves the World" (1.4/4 in 18-49, 4.6 million viewers overall from 9:01-9:30 p.m. ET) matched its series high in 18-49 with its best rating since the show debuted on Oct. 3. In total viewers, this week's 4.6 million is a new series high. Versus its week-earlier results, "Sean" was up 18% in 18-49 rating (to a 1.3 from a 1.1) and up 22% in total viewers (4.6 million vs. 3.7 million). L+3: The prior week's "Sean Saves the World" added 18% or 0.24 of a rating point to its next-day L+SD 18-49 rating (to a 1.33 from a 1.09) and 15% or 644,000 persons in total viewers (4.368 million vs. 3.724 million).

"The Michael J. Fox Show" averaged a 1.0/3 in 18-49 and 3.5 million viewers at 9:30, growing 4% versus the prior week in total viewers (3.5 million vs. 3.3 million). L+3: The prior week's "Michael J. Fox Show" added 33% or 0.35 of a rating point to its next-day L+SD 18-49 rating (to a 1.40 from a 1.05) and 26% or 853,000 persons in total viewers (4.189 vs. 3.336 million).

"Parenthood" (1.3/4 in 18-49, 3.9 million viewers overall from 10-11 p.m.) equaled a five-week high in 18-49 rating, matching its best result since Oct. 3. Versus week-earlier results, "Parenthood" was up 8% in 18-49 rating (to a 1.3 from a 1.2) and up 6% in total viewers (3.9 million vs. 3.7 million). L+3: The prior week's "Parenthood" added 79% or 0.95 of a rating point to its next-day L+SD 18-49 rating (to a 2.16 from a 1.21) and 58% or 2.116 million persons in total viewers (5.789 million vs. 3.673 million). The 2.16 rating in 18-49 is a three-week high for "Parenthood" in L+3.

Friday: "Dateline NBC" (1.0/4 in 18-49, 5.5 million viewers overall from 8-9 p.m. ET) grew from half-hour to half-hour in every key ratings category, including gains of 10% in adults 18-49 (to a 1.1 from a 1.0), 13% in adults 25-54 (1.7 vs. 1.5) and 27% in men 25-54 (1.4 vs. 1.1). "Dateline" is up versus NBC's week-earlier results in the time period by 43% in 18-49 rating (1.0 vs. 0.7) and 114% in total viewers (5.5 million vs. 2.6 million).

"Grimm" (1.3/4 in 18-49, 4.9 million viewers overall at 9 p.m. ET) built on its lead-in by 30% in 18-49 rating. "Grimm" maintained or increased its rating from half-hour to half-hour in every key demo. In total viewers, "Grimm" retained 98% of the prior week's result (4.875 million vs. 4.960 million). L+3: The prior week's "Grimm" added 63% or 0.95 rating points to its next-day "live plus same day" 18-49 rating (to a 2.46 in L+3 from a 1.51 in L+SD) and in total viewers, added 50% or 2.500 million persons (7.460 million vs. 4.960 million). L+7: Last season, "Grimm" originals added an average 73% in 18-49 to these next-day L+SD ratings when Nielsen issued L+7 results (to a 2.86 from a 1.65).

"Dracula" (0.9/3 in 18-49, 3.0 million viewers overall at 10 p.m. ET) generated 11% growth from its first half-hour to its second in adults 18-49 (to a 1.0 rating from a 0.9). Despite airing in the 10 p.m. hour, "Dracula" held steady or built from half-hour to half-hour in every key demographic. "Dracula" ranked #2 in its slot on ABC, CBS and NBC in men 18-34 (0.6) and tied for #2 in adults 18-34 (0.7). L+3: The prior week's "Dracula" added 61% or 0.78 of a point to its next-day "live plus same day" 18-49 rating (to a 2.06 in L+3 from a 1.28 in L+SD) and in total viewers, added 51% or 1.726 million persons (5.113 million vs. 3.387 million).

Saturday: "Miss Universe 2013" (0.9/3 in 18-49, 3.8 million viewers overall from 9-11 p.m. ET) delivered the night's #2 18-49 and total-viewer results among primetime telecasts on ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox despite a nine-hour delay before the event's U.S. telecast, during which results were available on-line and on news broadcasts. From its first half-hour to its fourth, "Miss Universe 2013" grew by 57% in adults 18-49 (to a 1.1 rating from a 0.7) and 64% or 1.9 million persons in total viewers (4.8 million vs. 2.9 million).

Sunday: "Sunday Night Football" (7.8/20 in 18-49, 21.1 million viewers overall from 8:31-11:35 p.m. ET), featuring the Dallas Cowboys at the New Orleans Saints, ranked #1 Sunday night on ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox in every key ratings category, leading NBC to the nightlong win in 18-49, total viewers and all other key measures. The 21.1 million is the best week-10 delivery for "Sunday Night Football" in three years.

Ten weeks into the NFL season, "Sunday Night Football" is delivering the strongest total-viewer average for a primetime NFL series (21.1 million, L+SD) at this point in the season in 17 years (since ABC's Monday coverage in 1996, 23.4 million).
