Network Delivers #1 Cable Movie of the Week for 4th Consecutive Week

"Countdown to Christmas" Original Movies Claim #1 and #2 Cable Movies of the Week and Programs of the Day

Original holiday movies continue to flourish at Hallmark Channel with its two recent world premieres driving the cable network to rank #1 in primetime and total day among women 25-54 rating for the full week of November 18 - 24. Hallmark Channel has delivered the #1 cable movie of the week for four consecutive weeks, and this week is no different. The recent "Countdown to Christmas" original movie premieres, "Window Wonderland" and "Fir Crazy", both garnered a 3.3 household rating and ranked as the #1 and #2 cable movies of the week, respectively.

Following last week's success, the Saturday premiere of "Window Wonderland" was the #1 cable program of the day, boosting Hallmark Channel to rank #1 among all of cable in the 8-10pm time period for HH (2,882,000), W25-54 (727,000), and P2+ (3,722,000) delivery. "Window Wonderland" also placed #1 in nearly all key demo ratings including W25-54 (1.6 rtg), HH (3.3 rtg), P2+ (1.7 rtg), W18-49 (1.0 rtg), A25-54 (1.1 rtg). In addition, the original film was #1 movie of the week among households and women 25-54 rating. Reaching nearly 5.6 million unduplicated viewers, "Window Wonderland" becomes the 4th most watched Hallmark Channel telecast of 2013 among household delivery. The original holiday premiere elevated Hallmark Channel to be the #1 cable network among HH (3.0 rtg) and W25-54 (1.5 rtg) in Saturday primetime as well as #1 among HH (1.7 rtg) and W25-54 (.8 rtg) for the full day.

The Sunday, 8-10pm premiere of "Fir Crazy" ranked as the #2 cable program of the day, attracting nearly 5.6 million unduplicated viewers to the network. The original holiday movie was the #1 cable movie of the week among household rating in addition to the #2 movie of the week among women 25-54 rating. In its time period, "Fir Crazy" ranked #2 in HH (3.3 rtg) and P2+ (1.7 rtg) and placed #2 in HH (2,853,000), #2 in P2+ (3,812,000), and #3 in W25-54 (657,000) in key demo delivery. "Fir Crazy" lifted Hallmark Channel to be the #2 cable network among households (2.8 HH rtg)in prime time for Sunday, and #1 among women 25-54 for the entire day (.9 rtg).

In "Window Wonderland", it's no holds barred when two Manhattan department store window decorators vie for the same job during the busy Christmas season. Sloan Van Doren is hoping to take over the recently vacated, head window designer position but finds she has to prove herself by going up against her happy-go-lucky rival, Jake Dooley. As the two compete they find they may have more in common than they think. Stars Naomi Judd, Chyler Leigh, Paul Campbell, and Cameron Mathison.

Elise MacKenzie is a marketing exec turned reluctant Christmas tree peddler in "Fir Crazy" after she loses her job. While running her family's Christmas tree lot, she discovers a newfound fondness for the holidays - but all could be lost when the storeowner who hosts the tree lot on his block wants to shut it down. It's up to Elise to use her newly found holiday spirit and business savvy background to rekindle his Christmas Cheer. Stars Sarah Lancaster, Eric Johnson and Colin Mochrie.
