Sunday's Broadcast Ratings: NBC Tops Demos for Sixth Week with "Sunday Night Football"

Here are the highlights of the 18 ad-sustained programs that aired in primetime on the broadcast networks last night (12/8/13):

NBC (14.925 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 5.4, #1) was of course the network to beat on Sunday with its NFL infused lineup of "Football Night in America #1" (6.157 million viewers, #13; adults 18-49: 1.9, #14), "Football Night in America #2" (8.166 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 2.9, #6), "Football Night in America #3" (13.446 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 4.5, #3) and "Sunday Night Football" (16.572 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 6.0, #T1).

FOX (8.512 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 3.3, #2) then claimed the silver with its mix of "NFL Overrun" (18.272 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 6.0, #T1), "The OT" (11.904 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 4.2, #4), "The Simpsons" (6.819 million viewers, #12; adults 18-49: 3.0, #5), "Bob's Burgers" (4.581 million viewers, #16; adults 18-49: 2.1, #T10), "Family Guy" (5.232 million viewers, #15; adults 18-49: 2.6, #7) and "American Dad" (4.266 million viewers, #17; adults 18-49: 2.1, #T10).

Next up was CBS (9.875 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 2.0, #3) and its combination of "60 Minutes" (11.440 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 2.2, #T8), "The Amazing Race 23" (9.454 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 2.1, #T10), the season finale of "The Amazing Race 23" (8.972 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 2.1, #T10) and "The Mentalist" (9.635 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 1.7, #15).
