Adult Swim's Total Day Delivery Averages Rank #1 on Basic Cable Among Adults 18-24, 18-34 & 18-49
Turner spins the numbers for the week of December 2-8.

For two weeks now in December, Adult Swim's Total Day Delivery averages ranked #1 on basic cable among adults 18-24, 18-34 & 18-49 and men 18-24 & 18-34. Compared to the same week in 2012, Total Day delivery grew across many of these same demos - adults 18-24 increased by 1%, adults 18-34 by 2%, men 18-24 by 15%, men 18-34 by 8% and men 18-49 by 8%.

Thursday night's new episode premiere of the Adult Swim original series Eagleheart (12 a.m.) ranked #1 in its time period among adults 18-24, and grew average delivery of men 18-24 & 18-34 vs. the same time period last year. That same night, The Eric Andre Show (12:30 a.m.) also ranked #1 in its time period among men 18-24.

The Saturday night premiere of the anime movie Akira out-performed last year's time period averages by mostly double digits across targeted adults and men, ranging between 8% and 32%.

Adult Swim programming - including Family Guy, The Cleveland Show, Robot Chicken and American Dad - accounted for 23 of the top 50 telecasts on basic cable this week among adults 18-34, and 25 of the top 50 among men 18-34, both more than any other network.

Cartoon Network

Across the second week of December 2013, Cartoon Network ranked #1 on basic cable for delivery of boys 6-11 & 9-14, while ranking #2 among kids 9-14 and boys 2-11. Cartoon Network's Total Day also grew among targeted kids demos vs. the same week last year - average kids 6-11 delivery grew by +2% and kids 9-14 by 4%.

In Early Prime (Weeknights, 7-9 p.m.), Cartoon Network scored as the #1 television network among boys 6-11 & 9-14 on Monday Night, Wednesday Night and Thursday Night, #1 among boys 2-11, 6-11 & 9-14 on Tuesday Night and also #1 among boys on Saturday Night (7-9p). Tuesday Night's overall performance grew by significant double-digits across all kids and boy demos vs. the same time period last year - kids 2-11 increased by 21%, kids 6-11 by 41%, kids 9-14 by 39%, boys 2-11 by 36%, boys 6-11 by 43% and boys 9-14 by 29%.

Among Monday's original programming, a new episode premiere of Regular Show (7:30 p.m.) ranked as the #1 telecast of the day among boys 6-11 & 9-14, and #1 in its time period among all boys. The network's newest series Steven Universe (8 p.m.) ranked #1 on basic cable in its time period among all targeted boy demos, while Adventure Time (7 p.m.) ranked #1 in its time period on basic cable among kids & boys 9-14 and boys 6-11. Adventure Time also earned mostly double-digit delivery vs. the same time period last year, ranging between 6% and 37%.

On Tuesday night, a new episode of Total Drama All-Stars (7 p.m.) ranked #1 on basic cable for the day among kids 6-11 & 9-14 and boys 6-11 & 9-14, while also ranking #1 in its time period among boys 2-11. Original series The Amazing World of Gumball (7:30 p.m.) charted #1 in its timeslot among kids 6-11 & 9-14 and all targeted boy demos, while Uncle Grandpa (8 p.m.) ranked #1 in its time period among all boys 2-11, 6-11 & 9-14. All three series grew delivery by double-digits across all kids and boys vs. last year, ranging between 11% and 66%.

On Thursday night, a new episode premiere of Legends of Chima (7 p.m) ranked #1 in its time period among boys 6-11. Similarly, Dragons: Defenders of Berk (8 p.m.) ranked #1 in its time period among boys 9-14 and grew by double-digits among all key kids and boys vs. last year, ranging between 25% and 63%.

The Saturday evening animated special The Naughty List (6-7p) grew audience delivery between 2% and 106% vs. the same time period last year across nearly all demos, while the movie premiere afterward of Sky High (7 p.m.) ranked #1 in its time period among boys 6-11 and out-performed all targeted audience delivery averages by 4% to 46%.

TNT

TNT's hit drama Major Crimes brought in 5.9 million viewers in Live + 3 delivery last Monday, a +15% increase over the prior week. The show also drew 1.7 million adults 25-54, a +5% boost vs. the prior week.

TNT's first two-hour installment of the critically acclaimed Mob City has drawn 5.6 million viewers across four plays, including 3.1 million viewers in Live + 3 for the premiere. In TNT's target demo, the show's initial two-hour block has drawn 2.3 million adults 25-54 across four plays, including 1.2 million in Live + 3 for the premiere.

On the sports front, through 12 regular season game telecasts, the NBA on TNT is averaging 2.4 million viewers (+9% vs. same number of telecasts last year) and a 1.6 U.S. household rating (+7%).

TBS

TBS's new original comedy Ground Floor garnered 1.5 million viewers in Live + 3 delivery for Thursday's episode, with 875,000 adults 18-49. The show scored +8% growth among adults 18-34 vs. the previous episode.

Last Tuesday's episode of TBS's hilarious game show Trust Me, I'm a Game Show Host averaged 1.2 million viewers in Live + 3 delivery.

The Big Bang Theory on TBS keeps chalking up competitive victories, with the show accounting for 18 of basic cable's Top 20 sitcom telecasts among viewers for the week. It also claimed and 16 of the Top 20 sitcom telecasts among adults 18-49.

truTV

truTV's South Beach Tow nabbed 1.3 million viewers Tuesday night, a +20% jump over the prior week. In the demos, the show garnered 602,000 adults 18-49 (+24% vs. the prior week) and 316,000 men 18-49 (+45%). The show also scored double-digit growth with adults 18-34 (+21%) and men 18-34 (+79%), as well as a young median age of only 34.

truTV's Impractical Jokers drew 1.1 million viewers Thursday night, including 649,000 adults 18-49 and 365,000 men 18-49. The show, which scored a median age of only 32, ranked as one of cable's Top 5 entertainment programs in the 10 p.m. half hour with key male demos and led truTV to a Top 10 finish for the night among men 18-34.
