The Live Finale of "The Voice" Jumps 26% Versus Its Prior Tuesday Telecast in 18-49 to Its Highest Tuesday Rating Since October 22

Tuesday Results:

NBC dominated the night among the Big 4 in 18-49, with "The Voice" the #1 show of the night by a 39% margin (3.9 vs. 2.8 for the #2 show, CBS's "NCIS").

· The live finale of "The Voice" (3.9/11 in 18-49, 13.8 million viewers overall from 9-11 p.m. ET) jumped 26% versus its prior Tuesday telecast in 18-49 (to a 3.9 rating vs. a 3.1) to its highest Tuesday rating since Oct. 22. In fact, it's the top rating for any Tuesday telecast on the Big 4 since Oct. 22.

· In total viewers, "The Voice" jumped 20% week to week (to 13.811 million vs. 11.518 million). It's the top Tuesday "Voice" in total viewers since Oct. 1, during the second week of the season. In total viewers, "The Voice" is within 2% of the year-ago finale (14.129 million). In 18-49, "The Voice" retained 80% of its year-ago finale (with a 3.9 vs. a 4.9, which is the record for a "Voice" finale) and 89% of the most recent finale in June (3.9 vs. 4.4).

· In the time period, "The Voice" set season highs in 18-49 and total viewers, topping NBC's Tuesday 9-11 p.m. averages so far this season by 26% in 18-49 (3.9 vs. 3.1) and 31% in total viewers (13.811 million vs. 10.534 million).

· "The Voice" won the time period among the Big 4 in every key ratings measure - adults, men and women 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54, plus total viewers.

· "The Biggest Loser" (2.0/6 in 18-49, 7.0 viewers overall from 8-9 p.m.) grew week to week by 5% in 18-49 (to a 2.0 from a 1.9) and 12% in total viewers (6.991 million vs. 6.243 million). In total viewers, it's the top "Biggest Loser" since the show's season premiere Oct. 15 (7.160 million). In the time period, "The Biggest Loser" ranks #2 among ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox in every key ratings category.

In Late-Night Metered Markets Tuesday night:

"The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" captured its highest Tuesday rating in metered-market households (3.5 rating, 9 share) in four months (since an appearance by President Obama on Aug. 6, 3.8/10).

Last night's encore of "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" (1.7/6 in metered-market households) earned that show's top Tuesday result since Oct. 8, despite being a rebroadcast.

· In Nielsen's 56 metered markets, household results were: "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno," 3.5/9; CBS's "Late Show with David Letterman," 2.7/7; and ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 1.9/5.

· In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno," 1.2/6; "Late Show," 0.6/3; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.7/3.

· From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.1/4 in metered-market households and a 0.4/3 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.

· From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" (1.7/6 in metered-market households with an encore telecast) beat CBS's first-run "Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson" (1.3/5). In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, "Late Night" (0.6/4 in 18-49 with an encore) topped "Late Late Show" (0.3/2).

· At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 1.0/4 in metered-market households with an encore and a 0.4/4 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.
