"THE NFL ON CBS's" BROADCAST OF DENVER'S WIN OVER SAN DIEGO IS HIGHEST-RATED NFL DIVISONAL PLAYOFF OF WEEKEND

Chargers-Broncos Game Second Highest-Rated Sunday AFC Divisional Playoff Game in 18 years

THE NFL ON CBS's broadcast of the AFC Divisional Playoff game featuring the Denver Broncos victory over the San Diego Chargers on Sunday, Jan. 12 (4:45-8:00 PM, ET) was the highest-rated NFL Divisional Playoff game of the weekend.

The AFC Divisional Playoff game on Sunday scored an overnight metered market rating/share of 25.1/42, up 5% from last year's 23.8/39 (Houston-New England; 4:45-8:00 PM, ET).

Yesterday's 25.1/42 is the second highest-rated Sunday AFC Divisional Playoff game in 18 years (26.1/41; Indianapolis-Kansas City; 1/7/96; NBC).

The game rating/share for the Chargers-Broncos game peaked with 47.5/41 (7:30-8:00 PM, ET), respectively.
