ABC's "The Taste" Dominates NBC's 9pm Comedies and an Encore "Shark Tank" Is #1 at 10pm on Thursday
Opposite the Thursday premiere of American Idol from 8-10pm, ABC's The Taste built by 11% from its first hour to its second hour in Adults 18-49. In fact during the 9 o'clock hour, The Taste dominated NBC's comedies (Sean Saves the World/The Michael J. Fox Show) by 43% in Adults 18-49 (1.0/3 vs. 0.7/2).
Building on its lead-in by 33% at 10pm, ABC's encore Shark Tank ranked #1 in Adults 18-49 (1.2/4), tying NBC's first-run Parenthood (1.2/4) and beating CBS' encore Elementary by 20% (1.0/3).
· Shark Tank improved the hour by 100% week to week in Adults 18-49, hitting a 1-month high - since 12/19/13.
