"Last Comic Standing" Is Up Versus NBC's Average in the Time Period Last Summer by 40% in Adults 18-49
NBC spins the numbers for Thursday, June 5.

Thursday Primetime Results:

· Facing NBA Finals competition in the West, "Hollywood Game Night" (1.1/4 in 18-49, 4.1 million viewers overall from 8-9:01 p.m. ET) retained 92% of its result last week in adults 18-49 (with a 1.1 rating vs. a 1.2) and 97% in total viewers (4.113 million vs. 4.247 million). Note that the week-ago 1.2 was the show's high since February and the 4.2 million is a series record for a Thursday telecast.

· From its first half-hour to its second, last night's "Hollywood Game Night" grew in every key measure, including gains of +20% in adults 18-49 (to a 1.2 rating from a 1.0), +15% in adults 25-54 (1.5 vs. 1.3) and +19% in women 25-54 (1.9 vs. 1.6).

· Facing competition from the NBA Finals, "Undateable" (1.0/4 in 18-49, 3.1 million viewers overall from 9:01-9:30 p.m. ET; 1.0/3 in 18-49, 2.9 million viewers overall from 9P:30-10) retained 100% of its 18-49 rating from half-hour to half-hour.

· "Undateable" out-rated Fox's original "Gang Related" in both half-hours in adults 18-49, as well as adults 18-34 and 25-54 and all key adult-female demos.

· All four episodes of "Undateable" to date have out-rated every episode of all three of last summer's original comedies on the Big 4 (NBC's "Save Me" and Fox's "Anger Management" and "The Goodwin Games") in adults 18-49.

· Facing competition from the NBA Finals, "Last Comic Standing" (1.4/4 in 18-49, 4.2 million viewers overall from 10-11 p.m. ET) retained 88% of last week's results in adults 18-49 (with a 1.4 rating vs. a 1.6) and 91% in total viewers (4.247 million vs. 4.661 million). Despite the 10 p.m. hour, "Last Comic" held steady or grew from half-hour to half-hour in every key ratings measure.

· "Last Comic Standing" is up versus NBC's average in the time period last summer by +40% in adults 18-49 (with a 1.4 rating vs. a 1.0, L+SD non-sports) and +28% in total viewers (4.247 million vs. 3.321 million).

In Late-Night Metered Markets Thursday Night:

· In Nielsen's 56 metered markets, household results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 2.6/6,; CBS's "Late Show with David Letterman," 2.0/5; and ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 2.7/8, delayed by an NBA overrun.

· In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 1.0/5,; "Late Show," 0.3/2; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 1.3/7, delayed by an NBA overrun.

· From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline," delayed by an NBA overrun, averaged a 1.8/6 in metered-market households and a 0.9/6 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.

· From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, "Late Night with Seth Meyers" (1.3/4 in metered-market households) beat CBS's "Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson" (1.0/4). In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, "Late Night" (0.5/3 in 18-49) topped "Late Late Show" (0.3/2).

· At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly," averaged a 0.7/3 in metered-market households and a 0.3/2 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.
