During the week of June 23, 2014, ABC aired 7 of the Top 20 broadcast programs in Adults 18-49: "The Bachelorette" - No. 9, "20/20" - No. 10, "Celebrity Wife Swap" and "What Would You Do?" tied at No. 13, while "Rising Star," "Wipeout" and "Modern Family" tied at No. 17. ABC's "20/20," featuring Barbara Walters' interview with Peter Rodger, finished among the week's Top 10 most-watched TV shows overall (No. 9) and was the No. 1 newsmagazine in Adults 18-49 (6th week in a row) and Adults 25-54.

· Building 16% over the year-ago week in Total Viewers (4.3 million vs. 3.7 million), ABC was the only major network to grow its overall audience year to year. In addition, ABC held steady in Adults 18-49 (1.0/3), while each of the other major nets declined year to year.

Monday

With "The Bachelorette" and "Mistresses," ABC was the 2nd-most-watched TV network overall on Monday, while winning the night among key Women demos (W18-49/W25-54).

· ABC's "The Bachelorette" was Monday's most-watched TV show overall (6.1 million), finishing as the top series on the night for its 4th consecutive 2-hour telecast.

"The Bachelorette" (8:00-10:01 p.m. - 6.1 million and 1.5/5 in AD18-49):

From 8:00-10:01 p.m., "The Bachelorette" ranked No. 1 in its 2-hour time period among Total Viewers (6.1 million) and key Women demos (W18-49/W25-54). In fact, it was the show's 3rd consecutive 2-hour telecast to rank No. 1 in its time slot with overall viewers. "The Bachelorette" was also the No. 1 most-social series on broadcast Monday night with 69,605 tweets, up 10% from the prior week.

"Mistresses" (10:01-11:00 p.m. - 3.6 million and 1.0/3 in AD18-49):

During the 10:00 p.m. hour, ABC's "Mistresses" took second in its time period and held steady week to week in Adults 18-49 (1.0/3).

Tuesday

"Extreme Weight Loss" (8:00-10:00 p.m. - 3.6 million and 1.0/4 in AD18-49):

From 8:00-10:00 p.m., ABC's "Extreme Weight Loss" was up week to week by double digits in Total Viewers (+16%) and Adults 18-49 (+25%). Head-to-head against NBC's "America's Got Talent," "Extreme Weight Loss" grew from its first hour to its second hour by 12% in Viewers (3.4 million to 3.8 million) and by 22% among young adults (0.9/3 to 1.1/4).

"Celebrity Wife Swap" (10:00-11:00 p.m. - 3.8 million and 1.3/4 in AD18-49):

Returning to original after the prior week's repeat, ABC's "Celebrity Wife Swap" delivered its 2nd-best Adult 18-49 rating this season. In fact, Tuesday's broadcast marked the show's 2nd-highest-rated telecast in 1 year among Adults 18-49 - since 6/23/13. "Celebrity Wife Swap" was up for its 2nd straight original in Women 18-34 (+27%) to hit a new season high with its strongest performance since March 2013 - since 3/5/13. "Celebrity Wife Swap" won the 10:00 p.m. hour with Adults 18-49 versus its CBS and NBC competition, beating "America's Got Talent"-fueled "Night Shift" by 8% (1.3/4 vs. 1.2/4). In addition, the ABC unscripted series ranked No. 1 in its slot in Adults 25-54 (tie) and across all key Women demos (W18-34-tie/W18-49/W25-54-tie).

Thursday

"Rookie Blue" (9:00-10:00 p.m. - 5.1 million and 0.9/3 in AD18-49):

Opposite the Thursday premiere of CBS' "Big Brother 16," ABC's "Rookie Blue" was the 2nd-most-watched program in the 9-o'clock hour (5.1 million), more than doubling its head-to-head drama competition on Fox (+113% - 2.4 million for "Gang Related"). In addition, "Rookie Blue" was Thursday's No. 1 drama in Total Viewers.

"NY Med" (10:00-11:00 p.m. - 5.6 million and 0.9/3 in AD18-49):

Returning from a 2-year absence, ABC's "NY Med" opened its 2nd season with its most-watched telecast ever. Growing on its lead-in by 10%, "NY Med" won the 10:00 p.m. hour in Total Viewers (5.6 million), beating NBC's "Last Comic Standing" by 75% (3.2 million). In addition, "NY Med" ranked as the No. 1 series in its slot among Adults 25-54 (1.4/4-tie).

Friday

With an encore "Shark Tank," "What Would You Do?" and Barbara Walters' interview with Peter Rodger on "20/20," ABC led the pack on Friday night, topping NBC's all-original lineup by 58% in Total Viewers (5.2 million vs. 3.3 million) and by 160% in Adults 18-49 (1.3/5 vs. 0.5/2). ABC finished as the No. 1 major net in each half-hour of the night in Adults 18-49, with the Top 3 shows.

· "20/20" was the No. 1 major network program of the night in Adults 18-49 and Adults 25-54. "20/20" featured Barbara Walters' interview with Peter Rodger, the father of Elliot Rodger, the 22 year old who killed six people, injured 13, and then took his own life near the campus of the University of California, Santa Barbara last month.

"What Would You Do?" (9:00-10:00 p.m. - 4.6 million and 1.3/5 in AD18-49):

During the 9:00 p.m. hour, ABC's "What Would You Do?" was up week to week in Total Viewers (+21% - 4.6 million vs. 3.8 million), Adults 18-49 (+30% - 1.3/5 vs. 1.0/4) and Adults 25-54 (+33% - 1.6/6 vs. 1.2/4). "What Would You Do?" beat its NBC newsmagazine competition in the hour ("A Leap of Faith: A Meredith Vieira Special") in Total Viewers (+15%), while leading by triple digits in Adults 18-49 (+117%) and Adults 25-54 (+129%).

"20/20" (10:00-11:00 p.m. - 6.4 million and 1.4/5 in AD18-49):

Building on its lead-in at 10:00 p.m., ABC's "20/20" won its hour in Total Viewers and in key Adults (AD18-49/AD25-54). In the hour, the ABC newsmagazine nearly tripled the audience of NBC's first-run "Crossbones" in Total Viewers (+191% - 6.4 million vs. 2.2 million) and more than tripled it in Adults 18-49 (+250% - 1.4/5 vs. 0.4/2).

· "20/20" grew by double digits week to week in Total Viewers (+28%), Adults 18-49 (+27%) and Adults 25-54 (+20%). In addition, "20/20" paced well ahead of its year-ago telecast (6/28/13) in Total Viewers (+60%), Adults 18-49 (+27%) and Adults 25-54 (+20%).

Sunday

With a repeat "America's Funniest Home Videos" into "Wipeout" and "Rising Star," ABC ranked No. 1 on Sunday among the broadcasters in Adults 18-49, tying CBS' premiere line-up (1.1/4).

"Wipeout" (8:00-9:00 p.m. - 4.3 million and 1.2/4 in AD18-49):

From 8:00-9:00 p.m., ABC's "Wipeout" took second to CBS' "Big Brother" premiere in the hour among the broadcast nets in viewers (4.3 million) and young adults (1.2/4). "Wipeout" was up 19% from its week-ago premiere in Total Viewers and 9% in Adults 18-49 to deliver the show's biggest audience since the beginning of last August and matching its top young adult number in over 1 year - since 8/1/13 and 5/9/13, respectively.

"Rising Star" (9:00-11:00 p.m. - 4.8 million and 1.2/4 in AD18-49):

From 9:00-11:00 p.m., ABC's "Rising Star" (1.2/4) beat out its original broadcast competition in its 2-hour time period among Adults 18-49, leading NBC's special "Last Comic Standing Room Only" by 9% (1.1/3) and CBS' series/season drama premieres by 50% ("Reckless" debut/"Unforgettable" premiere = 0.8/2). It was the No. 2 broadcast show of the night in Adults 18-49 (tie), behind only CBS' "Big Brother" slot premiere. The new ABC unscripted series once again built on its lead-in with viewers (+12%). In addition, the show grew from its first half-hour to its final half-hour in Total Viewers (+2%) and Adults 18-49 (+8%).

· "Rising Star" spiked 27% from its week-ago debut in Teens 12-17 (1.4/6 vs. 1.1/5), more than doubling each of its broadcast competitors in the time period.

· "Rising Star" improved its 2-hour time period year to year for ABC, up from the year-ago night by 60% in Total Viewers (4.8 million vs. 3.0 million) and by 50% in Adults 18-49 (1.2/4 vs. 0.8/2).

· For the 2nd week in a row, ABC's "Rising Star" was the No. 1 most-social broadcast series on Sunday, topping runner-up CBS' "Big Brother" premiere by 34% (76,560 tweets vs. 56,926 tweets).
