Here are the highlights of the 12 ad-sustained programs that aired in primetime on the broadcast networks last night (8/22/14):

CBS (6.565 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.8, #1) was the top draw on Friday thanks to its coverage of "NFL Preseason: Raiders at Packers" (6.565 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.8, #1).
NBC (4.454 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 0.9, #T2) then had to settle for second place with its duo of "Running Wild with Bear Grylls" (2.564 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 0.5, #T9) and "Dateline NBC" (5.400 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.1, #T2).
Next up was ABC (4.170 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 0.9, #T2) with its mix of "Last Man Standing" (4.068 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.8, #T6), another "Last Man Standing" (4.069 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.8, #T6), "Shark Tank" (4.459 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.1, #T2) and "20/20" (3.983 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 0.8, #T6).
Meanwhile, FOX (3.216 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.9, #T2) served up second runs of "MasterChef" (3.021 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 0.9, #T4) and "Bones" (3.413 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 0.9, #T4).
And finally, The CW (1.121 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.4, #5) closed out the evening with a new "Masters of Illusion" (1.608 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 0.5, #T9) alongside repeats of "Whose Line Is It Anyway?" (1.226 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 0.4, #11) and "America's Next Top Model" (0.826 million viewers, #12; adults 18-49: 0.3, #12).
In the netlet's target demo (women 18-34), said trio posted a 0.3, 0.2 and 0.2 rating, respectively.

· In Nielsen's 56 metered markets, household results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 2.7/7; CBS's "Late Show with David Letterman," 2.0/5 with an encore; and ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 1.8/4 with an encore.
· In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 0.9/4; "Late Show," 0.6/3 with an encore; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.5/2 with an encore.
· From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.1/3 in metered-market households and a 0.3/2 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.
· From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, "Late Night with Seth Meyers" (1.3/4 in metered-market households with an encore) beat CBS's "Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson" (1.0/3 with an encore). In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, "Late Night" (0.4/3 in 18-49 with an encore) topped "Late Late Show" (0.3/2 with an encore).
· At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.8/3 in metered-market households with an encore and a 0.3/2 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.

NBC (4.715 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 0.9, #2) then was a distant second place with repeats of "Betty White's Off Their Rockers" (2.999 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 0.7, #T5), another "Betty White's Off Their Rockers" (3.092 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 0.7, #T5) and a new two-hour "Dateline NBC" (5.549 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.0, #T2).
Next up was ABC (3.440 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 0.8, #3) with second runs of "Last Man Standing" (3.433 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.6, #8), "The Neighbors" (2.438 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 0.5, #9), "Shark Tank" (3.550 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 1.0, #T2) and a new "20/20" (3.836 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 0.9, #4).

And finally, The CW (1.063 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.3, #5) wrapped the night with a new "Perfect Score" (0.908 million viewers, #13; adults 18-49: 0.3, #T11), a repeat
"Perfect Score" (0.938 million viewers, #12; adults 18-49: 0.2, #13) and a new "America's Next Top Model" (1.202 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 0.3, #T11).
