Note: Each of the Big 4 networks carried President Obama's address from 9 p.m. to approximately 9:17-9:18 ET in the Eastern U.S. Results for the 9 and 10 p.m. hours are subject to adjustment in official nationals. News coverage was sustaining and will not be counted in nightlong or weeklong averages.
NBC is #1 for the night in 18-49 (tied with Fox) and total viewers with the #1 show of the night in total viewers, "America's Got Talent."
· An encore telecast of "America's Got Talent" (1.2/4 in 18-49, 6.8 million viewers overall from 8-9 p.m. ET) scored the show's highest rating for a rebroadcast since July 30 and delivered a season high for a Wednesday encore in total viewers. The 8 p.m. "Talent" rebroadcast ranks #2 in the time period among ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox in total viewers and is tied for #2 among those nets in adults, men and women 25-54 and women 18-34.
· "America's Got Talent" (apprx. 1.9/6 in 18-49, 10.6 million viewers overall from about 9:17-10:18 p.m. ET) currently ranks #1 in the hour among the Big 4 in all key measures, pending updates.
· "America's Got Talent" is currently running within a tenth of a point of the prior week's 2.0 rating in 18-49, pending updates, and is up +1% in total viewers (10.6 million vs. 10.5 million). If the week-to-week gain in total viewers stands, it will be "Talent's" biggest Wednesday overall viewership in six weeks (since July 30).
· "Taxi Brooklyn" aired from approximately 10:18-11:17 p.m. ET. For the 10:30-11 p.m. half-hour, "Taxi Brooklyn" averaged a 0.8/3 in 18-49 and 4.7 million viewers overall and currently ranks #1 in that half-hour among ABC, CBS and NBC in total viewers and women 25-54 and tied for #1 among those nets in women 18-34 and women 18-49.
· NBC ranked #1 for the night among the Big 4 nets in adults 18-49 (tied with Fox), total viewers and adults, men and women 25-54.
In Late-Night Metered Markets Wednesday Night *:
· In Nielsen's 56 metered markets, household results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 2.5/7; CBS's "Late Show with David Letterman," 1.5/5; and ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 1.9/5.
· In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 0.9/5; "Late Show," 0.3/2; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.6/3.
· From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET *, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.1/4 in metered-market households and a 0.3/2 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.
· From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET *, "Late Night with Seth Meyers" (1.1/4 in metered-market households) beat CBS's "Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson" (0.8/3). In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, "Late Night" (0.4/3 in 18-49) topped "Late Late Show" (0.2/2).
· At 1:35 a.m. ET *, "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.7/3 in metered-market households with an encore and a 0.3/3 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.
