Premiere of "Gotham" Leads FOX to Rank No. 2 for the Week Among Adults 18-34 and Fourth Among Adults 18-49

"FAMILY GUY"/"THE SIMPSONS" Crossover Event Delivers Big Premiere Week Ratings For FOX

The premiere of GOTHAM along with the return of SLEEPY HOLLOW, BONES, THE SIMPSONS, FAMILY GUY and BROOKLYN NINE-NINE led FOX to rank No. 2 for the week among Adults 18-34 and fourth among Adults 18-49. The series premiere of GOTHAM ranked as Monday night's No. 1 drama, outperforming the return of NBC's Blacklist and new CBS drama Scorpion after three days of delayed viewing.

On Sunday, THE SIMPSONS (3.9/11 LS) posted its highest rating since January, up +34% from last season's premiere (2.9/8 LS). BROOKLYN NINE-NINE (2.6/7 LS) opened on its new night to tie its year-ago debut, a series high (2.6/8). The premiere of FAMILY GUY (4.5/12 LS), featuring the "The Simpsons Guy" crossover event, climbed from last year's season premiere (+73%, vs. 2.6/6) to post its highest premiere rating in four years.

Overall, FOX had:

· 4 of the Top 20 programs among Adults 18-49: FAMILY GUY (No. 5), SIMPSONS (No. 7), GOTHAM (No. 15) and BROOKLYN NINE-NINE (No. 20).

· 4 of the Top 20 programs among Adults 18-34: FAMILY GUY (No. 3), SIMPSONS (No. 4), GOTHAM (No. 13 tie) and BROOKLYN NINE-NINE (No. 13 tie).

· 4 of the Top 20 programs among Teens: FAMILY GUY (No. 2), SIMPSONS (No. 6), BROOKLYN NINE-NINE (No. 10) and GOTHAM (No. 14).

Program and Nightly Highlights

Monday: FOX (2.6/7) ranked No. 3 on Monday with the debut of GOTHAM (3.2/10 LS > 5.0/15 L3) and the season premiere of SLEEPY HOLLOW (2.0/5 LS > 3.0/8 L3). GOTHAM ranked as the night's No. 1 drama, outperforming the return of NBC's BLACKLIST (4.9/14 L3) and CBS' BIG BANG THEORY-boosted launch of SCORPIAN (4.6/12 L3). GOTHAM outpaced the time period premiere of BONES last fall by +72% (2.9/9 L3). In L7, GOTHAM is projected to post a 5.6 rating and SLEEPY HOLLOW is projected to deliver a 3.4. GOTHAM is projected to grow to a 30 Day Multi-Platform Average Audience of 15.7 Mil and SLEEPY HOLLOW is projected to grow to 10.5 Mil.

Tuesday: FOX (1.0/3) ranked No. 5 on Tuesday. UTOPIA (0.8/3 LS > 1.2/4 L3) gained +50% with Live + 3 and is projected to post a 1.2 in Adults 18-49 with L7; in 30 Day Multi-Platform, UTOPIA is projected to see an average audience of 3.1 Mil. In Adults 18-49, NEW GIRL (1.3/4 LS > 2.0/6 L3) and THE MINDY PROJECT (1.0/3 LS > 1.5/4 L3) are projected to deliver a 2.2 and a 1.6 respectively. With the addition of the 30 Day Multi-Platform Audience, NEW GIRL is projected to rise to 5.0 Mil while Mindy will see an average audience of 3.9 Mil.

Wednesday: Week two of RED BAND SOCIETY (1.1/3 LS > 1.8/5 L3) held steady to its debut in Live + 3 (1.3/4 LS > 1.8/6 L3). HELL'S KITCHEN (1.3/4 LS > 1.8/6 L3) was within one-tenth of last week's delivery (1.9/7 L3). RED BAND SOCIETY is projected to grow to a 1.9 in L7 and with the addition of 30 Day Multi-Platform viewing to an average audience of 6.4 Mil. HELL'S KITCHEN is projected to gain a 1.9 L7 rating and 5.4 Mil in 30 Day Multi-Platform viewing.

Thursday: FOX (1.1/4) ranked No. 5 on the night among Adults 18-49. BONES (1.6/5 LS) held steady to last season's finale in Adults 18-49. In L7, BONES is projected to post a 2.3 Adults 18-49 rating and gain a 30 Day Multi-Platform Average Audience of 9.4 Mil. A special encore of SLEEPY HOLLOW posted a 0.6/2.

Friday: Week three of UTOPIA-FRI (0.7/3 LS) gained two-tenths in Adults 18-49 to tie its Friday time period premiere rating (Fri LS trend: 0.7/3 > 0.5/2 > 0.7/3). At 9 PM, an encore of the series premiere of GOTHAM (0.7/3 LS) held 100% of UTOPIA's Adults 18-49 audience.

Saturday: FOX placed No.5 on Saturday with COLLEGE FOOTBALL (0.4/2, Baylor/Iowa State).

Sunday: THE SIMPSONS (3.9/11 LS) posted its highest rating since January, up +34% from last season's premiere (2.9/8 LS). THE SIMPSONS is projected to a 4.3 L7 rating in Adults 18-49 and 11.1 Mil in 30-Day Multi-Platform. BROOKLYN NINE-NINE (2.6/7 LS) opened on its new night to tie its year-ago debut, a series high (2.6/8, which led out of last year's Dads Tuesday debut), and up +18% versus BOB'S BURGERS year-ago premiere in the time period (2.2/5 LS). In Adults 18-49 L7 ratings, BROOKLYN NINE-NINE is projected to deliver a 3.4; with the addition of its 30 Day Multi-Platform Audience, it is projected to gain an average audience of 10.0 Mil. The premiere of FAMILY GUY (4.5/12 LS), featuring the "The Simpsons Guy", climbed from last year's season premiere (+73%, vs. 2.6/6) to post its highest rating in over three and a half years. FAMILY GUY is projected to post a 5.6 in Adults 18-49 L7 rating; in 30 Day Multi-Platform, FAMILY GUY is projected to gain an average audience of 13.1 Mil.
