Tuesday's Broadcast Ratings: "The Voice," "Chicago Fire" Power NBC to Top Demo Spot

Here are the highlights of the 14 ad-sustained programs that aired in primetime on the broadcast networks last night (11/11/14):

NBC (10.526 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 2.7, #1) claimed top demo honors on Tuesday thanks to a special two-hour "The Voice" (11.242 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 2.9, #1) and a new "Chicago Fire" (9.094 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 2.2, #3).

CBS (13.769 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.9, #2) then took home the silver with originals from "NCIS" (17.406 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 2.3, #2), "NCIS: New Orleans" (14.876 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 2.0, #4) and "Person of Interest" (9.027 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 1.3, #T8).

Next up was FOX (3.753 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 1.5, #3) and its combination of "MasterChef Junior" (4.805 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 1.8, #5), "New Girl" (2.949 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 1.3, #T8) and "The Mindy Project" (2.453 million viewers, #13; adults 18-49: 1.0, #T10).

Meanwhile, ABC (3.852 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.1, #T4) offered up a new "Selfie" (3.267 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 0.9, #T12), a repeat "Modern Family" (2.890 million viewers, #12; adults 18-49: 0.9, #T12) and fresh installments of "Marvel's Agents of SHIELD" (4.266 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 1.5, #6) and "Forever" (4.211 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 1.0, #T10).

And finally, new episodes of "The Flash" (3.402 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 1.4, #7) and "Supernatural" (2.192 million viewers, #14; adults 18-49: 0.9, #T12) on The CW (2.797 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 1.1, #T4) closed out the night. In the netlet's target demo (women 18-34), "The Flash" posted a 1.1 rating while "Supernatural" delivered a 0.9 rating.

· From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.1/4 in metered-market households and a 0.3/2 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.

· From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, "Late Night with Seth Meyers" (1.4/5 in metered-market households) beat CBS's "Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson" (1.2/4). In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, "Late Night" (0.6/4 in 18-49) topped "Late Late Show" (0.3/2).

· At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.9/4 in metered-market households and a 0.3/3 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.


Here are the highlights of the 16 ad-sustained programs that aired in primetime on the broadcast networks one year ago (11/12/13):

NBC (8.501 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 2.5, #1) inched out another demo victory on Tuesday with its mix of "The Biggest Loser 15" (6.303 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 1.9, #7), "The Voice" (11.406 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 3.4, #1) and "Chicago Fire" (7.793 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 2.2, #T4).

CBS (15.478 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 2.4, #2) then was a close second place with originals from "NCIS" (19.186 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 2.9, #2), "NCIS: Los Angeles" (14.745 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 2.4, #3) and "Person of Interest" (12.502 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 2.0, #6).

Next up was ABC (4.648 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.5, #3) with fresh installments of "Marvel's Agents of SHIELD" (6.625 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 2.2, #T4), "The Goldbergs" (5.184 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 1.7, #T8), "Trophy Wife" (3.813 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 1.2, #T12) and "Scandal for Real: The Top 10 Political Scandals of the Century" (2.820 million viewers, #13; adults 18-49: 0.8, #16).
