Some early points on Jimmy Kimmel Live's numbers, ahead of the regular press release:

During the week of November 3, 2014, ABC's Jimmy Kimmel Live scored new season highs, growing over the prior week by 8% in Total Viewers (2.968 million vs. 2.752 million) and by 16% in Adults 18-49 (933,000 vs. 807,000). In fact, excluding the NBA finals weeks in June, Kimmel drew its largest overall audience in nearly 1 year and delivered a 34-week high among young adults - since the weeks of 11/25/13 and 3/10/14, respectively.

Kimmel grew its overall audience by 8% over the same week last year and held steady among Adults 18-49 (2.746 million and 942,000 on w/o 11/4/13).

· ABC's Jimmy Kimmel Live was the week's #2 late-night talk show on broadcast or cable in both Total Viewers and Adults 18-49. Kimmel posted its closest finish yet with NBC's The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon among Adults 18-49, with just 311k young adults separating the two programs (933,000 vs. 1.244 million).

· Following the CMA Awards on Wednesday (11/5/14), in an unprecedented cross-country simulcast via hologram, ABC's Kimmel drew 3.717 million Total Viewers, marking the show's 3rd-most-watched telecast ever on any night in late-night.

ABC Late-Night (Monday - Friday)

With its late-night lineup of "Jimmy Kimmel Live" at 11:35 p.m. and "Nightline" at 12:35 a.m., ABC grew week to week by 9% in Total Viewers (2.594 million vs. 2.381 million) and by 16% in Adults 18-49 (820,000 vs. 707,000) to deliver season-high performances. In fact, ABC drew its largest overall audience in late-night since Thanksgiving week last year and posted its best young adult number since June - since the weeks of 11/25/13 and 6/9/14, respectively.

ABC was up over its performance during the year-ago week (2.420 million and 820,000 on w/o 11/4/13) for the 3rd week in a row in Total Viewers (+7%) and was even among Adults 18-49.

· ABC was the No. 1 network in late-night for the 3rd week running in Total Viewers (2.594 million). In fact, ABC drew the largest late-night audience for any network this season.

"Nightline" (M-F 12:35 a.m.)

ABC News' "Nightline" ranked No. 1 in Total Viewers (1.791 million) and Adults 25-54 (786,000) during the week of November 3, 2014, based on Live +Same Day Data from Nielsen Media Research. "Nightline" took the top spot in overall viewers for the 3rd straight week, while winning in the key adults news demo for the first time this season.

"Nightline" turned in its largest margins of victory this season in Total Viewers over both CBS' "The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson" (+465,000) and NBC's "Late Night with Seth Meyers" (+228,000). In addition, "Nightline" beat the CBS program by a season-best in Adults 25-54 (+242,000) and Adults 18-49 (+189,000).

Posting week-to-week gains (1.655 million, 674,000 and 511,000, respectively on w/o 10/27/14) in Total Viewers (+8%), Adults 25-54 (+17%) and Adults 18-49 (+13%), "Nightline" delivered its most-watched week ever in its new time period - since premiering in January 2013.

For the 3rd straight week, "Nightline" improved on its year-ago performance (1.764 million, 758,000 and 575,000, respectively on w/o 11/4/13) in Total Viewers (+2%), Adults 25-54 (+4%) and Adults 18-49 (+1%).

"Nightline" owned the Top 3 most-watched telecasts of the week versus its NBC and CBS competition with its Tuesday (2.109 million on 11/4/14), Wednesday (2.104 million on 11/5/14) and Thursday (1.918 million on 11/6/14) airings, respectively, ahead of every telecasts of the week of CBS' "The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson" and NBC's "Late Night with Seth Meyers." In addition, "Nightline" aired the No. 1 Adult 25-54 telecast with its Wednesday broadcast (965,000), representing its top news demo telecast of the season.
