"Grimm" Retains 92% of the Prior Week's Rating in Adults 18-49
NBC spins the numbers for Friday, December 5.

Friday Primetime Results:

· "Grimm" (1.1/4 in 18-49, 5.0 million viewers overall from 9-10 p.m. ET) built on its lead-in by +22% in adults 18-49 and +38% in total viewers.

· "Grimm" retained 92% of the prior week's 1.2 rating in adults 18-49, despite increased competition this week from Fox's Pac 12 Championship College Football, while holding 100% of the previous week's result in adults 18-34 (0.6 vs. 0.6) and 100% in adults 25-54 (1.7 vs. 1.7).

· "Grimm" will add substantial audience via time-shifting, with the prior week's telecast growing by +74% in 18-49 (from a 1.24 to a 2.16) and more than 2.4 million viewers overall (5.2 million to 7.6 million) going from L+SD to L+3.

· "Constantine" (0.8/3 in 18-49, 3.1 million viewers overall from 10-11 p.m. ET) maintained 100% of its rating from half-hour to half-hour in adults 18-49 (0.8 vs. 0.8), despite the 10 p.m. hour, and also held 100% in adults, men and women 25-54 (1.1 vs. 1.1 in each measure).

· Week to week, "Constantine" held onto 89% of its adult 18-49 rating (0.8 vs. 0.9), despite increased competition this week from Fox's football, while retaining 100% week to week in adults 18-34 (0.4 vs. 0.4) and 92% in adults 25-54 (1.1 vs. 1.2).

· "Constantine" will add substantial audience via time-shifting, with the previous week's "Constantine" increasing by +63% in 18-49 (from a 0.90 to a 1.47) and 1.4 million viewers overall (3.3 million to 4.7 million) going from L+SD to L+3.

· The holiday special "How Murray Saved Christmas" (0.9/3 in 18-49, 3.6 million viewers overall from 8-9 p.m. ET) maintained its adult 18-49 rating from half-hour to half-hour and grew +20% in women 18-34 (0.5 to 0.6) and +8% in women 25-54 (1.3 to 1.4). In the time slot, "How Murray Saved Christmas" finished in a three-way tie for #1 among the Big 4 networks in kids 2-11 (0.4 rating).

In Late-Night Metered Markets Friday Night:

· In Nielsen's 56 metered markets, household results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 2.3/5 with an encore telecast; CBS's "Late Show with David Letterman," 2.3/5 with an encore; and ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 2.4/6 with an encore.

· In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 0.8/3 with an encore; "Late Show," 0.5/2 with an encore; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.8/3 with an encore.

· From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.6/5 in metered-market households and a 0.6/3 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.

· From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, "Late Night with Seth Meyers" (1.2/3 in metered-market households with an encore) tied CBS's "Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson" (1.2/4). In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, "Late Night" (0.4/2 in 18-49 with an encore) topped "Late Late Show" (0.3/2).

· At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.7/2 in metered-market households with an encore and a 0.3/2 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.

"Live Plus Three Day" Results for Monday, Dec. 1:

· At 10 p.m. ET, "State of Affairs" grew by +40% in 18-49 (from a 1.60 rating to a 2.6924 and 2.5 million viewers overall (from 7.0 million to 9.6 million) going from L+SD to L+3.

· Week-to-week gains for "State of Affairs" increased significantly in L+3 results versus the L+SD ratings released earlier in the week. While the week-to-week gains in L+SD were +15% in adult 18-49 rating (from a 1.39 to a 1.60) and nearly 1.7 million or +31% in total viewers (5.4 million vs. 7.0 million), the week-to-week gains in L+3 grew to +33% in 18-49 (1.69 to 2.24) and 2.8 million or +41% in total viewers (6.8 million to 9.6 million). Note that the prior week's "State of Affairs" was interrupted by coverage of a Presidential address.
