Turner Broadcasting's TBS and Adult Swim Score Demo Victories in Live + 7 Delivery for the Second Week of January
Turner spins the numbers for the month of January to date.

TNT

The Jan. 5 episode of TNT's hit series Major Crimes has drawn a total of 8.1 million viewers in Live + 7 delivery for its premiere telecast and encore, up slightly compared to the prior week. In key demos, the episode garnered 2.4 million adults 25-54 and 1.7 million adults 18-49. So far for the season-to-date, Major Crimes is reaching an average of 9.6 million viewers per episode for its linear telecasts and DVR, VOD, digital and mobile plays.

The Jan. 11 back-to-back episodes of TNT's new hit The Librarians booked 6.3 million viewers in Live + 7 delivery for their premiere and encore telecasts, with 2.7 million adults 25-54 and 2.3 million adults 18-49. So far for the season-to-date, The Librarians is reaching an average of 12.3 million viewers per episode across TNT's multiple platforms.

The Jan. 9 season 3 launch of TNT's investigative series Cold Justice drew a combined delivery of 2.8 million viewers in Live + 7 delivery for its premiere telecast and encore. That number climbs to a reach of 3.5 million viewers across all of TNT's television, digital and mobile platforms.

TBS

TBS topped the basic cable charts in Live + 7 delivery for the second week of January, ranking as the #1 network in primetime delivery of adults 18-49.

TBS's Ground Floor delivered 2 million viewers in Live + 7 for its Jan. 6 episode and encore, including 1.1 million adults 18-49. For the season-to-date the show is reaching an average of 3.1 million viewers per episode across TBS's linear telecasts and DVR, VOD, digital and mobile plays.

Cougar Town's sixth and final season launched Jan. 6 with a combined audience of 2.1 million viewers in Live + 7 delivery for its linear premiere and encore, including 1.3 million adults 18-49. Across TBS's multiple platforms, the season premiere of Cougar Town has reached 2.9 million viewers.

Adult Swim

Adult Swim ranked #1 for the week vs. all basic cable in Total Day delivery among adults and men 18-24, 18-34 and 18-49. Adult Swim also ranked #1 in Prime delivery among adults 18-34.

Adult Swim telecasts accounted for 26 of the Top 50 telecasts of the week on basic cable among adults 18-34, and 31 of the Top 50 among men 18-34, more than any other network.

On Friday, Newsreaders (12a) and The Eric Andre Show (12:15a) ranked #1 in their respective timeslots with adults 18-24. On Saturday, Black Dynamite (10:30p) ranked #1 in its timeslot with adults 18-24 and all targeted men. On Sunday, Mike Tyson Mysteries (11:30p) won its time period across all key adults and men.

Cartoon Network

Cartoon Network ranked as basic cable's #1 network in Total Day delivery among all targeted boys and continues to be #2 in Total Day among kids 6-11 for the year.

Cartoon Network also ranked as basic cable's #1 network for Early Prime (6p-8p) among kids 2-11, charting a 37% increase in delivery over the previous year.

Total Day delivery charted double-digit gains over the previous year among all kids demos, with kids 2-11 up by 23%, kids 6-11 by 29%, and kids 9-14 by 15%.

Cartoon Network was the #1 destination vs. all TV with kids & boys 2-11, 6-11 and 9-14 on Thursday Night, growing between 74% and 97% among all targeted demos. All Thursday premieres, including Amazing World of Gumball (5pm), Uncle Grandpa (5:30pm), Teen Titans Go! (6pm), Steven Universe (6:30pm), Adventure Time (7pm) and Regular Show (7:30pm), posted double and triple-digit gains and ranked #1 in their respective time periods among all targeted kids and boys.

NBA TV

Total viewership for NBA TV's NBA Inside Stuff premiere on Saturday, Jan. 24, grew by +93% when compared to the corresponding date in 2014. Overall, through the week ending Sunday, Jan. 25, NBA TV's total day viewership is +2% vs. last year.
