Tuesday's Broadcast Ratings: NBC Tops Demos with "The Voice," "Chicago Fire"

Here are the highlights of the 14 ad-sustained programs that aired in primetime on the broadcast networks last night (3/10/15):

NBC (11.689 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 3.1, #1) was the demo champ on Tuesday thanks to a special two-hour "The Voice" (13.255 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 3.6, #1) and a new "Chicago Fire" (8.557 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 2.1, #T2).

CBS (12.158 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.7, #2) then claimed the silver with its trio of "NCIS" (15.722 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 2.1, #T2) - tying its series low, "NCIS: New Orleans" (12.251 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.6, #4) - also a low - and "Person of Interest" (8.501 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 1.4, #T6).

Next up was ABC (3.679 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.2, #3) and its original lineup of "Fresh Off the Boat" (5.064 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 1.5, #5), "Repeat After Me" (3.497 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 1.1, #9), "Marvel's Agents of SHIELD" (3.733 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 1.4, #T6) - its series low - and "Forever" (3.024 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 0.8, #11).

Meanwhile, FOX (2.547 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 1.0, #4) served up a new "Hell's Kitchen" (3.451 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 1.3, #8), a repeat "New Girl" (1.496 million viewers, #12; adults 18-49: 0.7, #12) and a new "The Mindy Project" (1.793 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 0.9, #10).

And finally, repeats of "The Flash" (1.310 million viewers, #13; adults 18-49: 0.4, #13) and "Supernatural" (0.786 million viewers, #14; adults 18-49: 0.3, #14) on The CW (1.048 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.3, #5) closed out the evening. In the netlet's target demo (women 18-34), the former posted a 0.4 rating while the latter delivered a 0.3 rating.

· In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 1.1/5 with an encore; "Late Show," 0.5/2; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.7/3.

· From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.4/4 in metered-market households and a 0.5/3 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.

· From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, "Late Night with Seth Meyers" (1.3/5 in metered-market households with an encore) beat CBS's "Late Late Show" (0.9/3 with an encore). In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, "Late Night" (0.6/4 in 18-49 with an encore) topped "Late Late Show" (0.2/1 with an encore).

· At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.8/4 with an encore in metered-market households and a 0.4/3 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.

NBC (9.221 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 2.4, #1) was the demo champ on Tuesday with its mix of "The Voice" (13.144 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 3.4, #1), "About a Boy" (7.894 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 2.1, #2), "Growing Up Fisher" (6.538 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 1.8, #5) and "Chicago Fire" (7.303 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 2.0, #T3).

CBS (9.361 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.3, #3) then was still the most-watched network despite an all-repeat lineup of "NCIS" (10.785 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.3, #T8), "NCIS: Los Angeles" (9.682 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.4, #7) and "Person of Interest" (7.618 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 1.1, #11).

Next up was ABC (3.967 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.4, #2) with originals from "Marvel's Agents of SHIELD" (5.785 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 2.0, #T3), "The Goldbergs" (4.338 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 1.5, #6), "Trophy Wife" (2.919 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 0.9, #T12) and "Mind Games" (2.489 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 0.9, #T12).

Meanwhile, FOX (2.396 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 1.1, #4) offered up fresh installments of "Glee" (2.339 million viewers, #14; adults 18-49: 0.9, #T12), "New Girl" (2.443 million viewers, #13; adults 18-49: 1.3, #T8) and "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" (2.463 million viewers, #12; adults 18-49: 1.2, #10).

And finally, a new "The Originals" (1.939 million viewers, #15; adults 18-49: 0.9, #T12) and a repeat "Supernatural" (1.355 million viewers, #16; adults 18-49: 0.6, #16) closed out the night over on The CW (1.647 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.7, #5).
