Sunday's Broadcast Ratings: NCAA Overrun Helps Put CBS on Top

Here are the highlights of the 17 ad-sustained programs that aired in primetime on the broadcast networks last night (3/22/15):

CBS (9.991 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.5, #1) was the network to beat on Sunday with its mix of "NCAA Overrun" (13.339 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 3.3, #1), "60 Minutes" (11.661 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.9, #T2), "Madam Secretary" (10.347 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.3, #9), "The Good Wife" (8.210 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 1.0, #T13) and "Battle Creek" (6.152 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 0.8, #16).

ABC (5.513 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.4, #2) then was a close second with its quartet of "America's Funniest Home Videos" (6.438 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 1.4, #T7), "Once Upon a Time" (5.687 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 1.8, #4), "Secrets & Lies" (5.485 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 1.5, #6) and "Revenge" (4.441 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 1.1, #T11).

Next up was FOX (3.348 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 1.3, #3) and its lineup of a "The Simpsons" (3.073 million viewers, #15; adults 18-49: 0.9, #15) repeat, a new "Bob's Burgers" (2.173 million viewers, #17; adults 18-49: 1.0, #T13), repeats of "Family Guy" (2.768 million viewers, #16; adults 18-49: 1.1, #T11) and another "Family Guy" (3.409 million viewers, #14; adults 18-49: 1.4, #T7) plus a new "The Last Man on Earth" (4.530 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 1.9, #T2) and a second "The Last Man on Earth" (4.138 million viewers, #12; adults 18-49: 1.6, #5).

And finally, a repeat of "The Voice" (3.505 million viewers, #13; adults 18-49: 0.7, #17) and a two-hour "Dateline NBC" (5.322 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 1.2, #10) on NBC (4.414 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.0, #4) closed out the evening.
