The Turner Broadcasting Portfolio Tops the Charts Across the Board in Both Primetime and Total Day for April

TNT

TNT ranked behind TBS as basic cable's #2 network in primetime delivery of total viewers, adults 18-49 and adults 25-54 for the month of April. It also ranked third behind Adult Swim and TBS among adults 18-34 in primetime and second behind Adult Swim among adults 18-49 in total day.

Since the start of the 2015 NBA Playoffs, TNT's live game telecasts have propelled the network to win the night across all of cable television 11 times among total viewers and 15 times in men 18-49 and men 18-34. The network's second round coverage is averaging 4.3 million total viewers and a 2.9 U.S. HH rating, the most-viewed and highest-rated NBA Playoff coverage on cable television. Over the past week, TNT's coverage of the NBA Playoffs won the night across cable television three times among total viewers.

Additionally, live starts via NBA Overtime are up 36% since the start of the playoffs, when compared with last year. Across social media, total impressions via Facebook and Twitter for the NBA TV, NBA on TNT and NBA.com social accounts are up 102% for the playoffs this year.

TNT's coverage of the NBA playoffs scored basic cable's #1 sports telecast for April, with the April 20 matchup between the Golden State Warriors and the New Orleans Pelicans topping the sports charts with total viewers, adults 18-34, adults 18-49 and adults 25-54. Overall, the NBA Playoffs on TNT accounted for eight of the Top 50 programs for the month with adults 18-49 and total viewers, and nine of the Top 50 with adults 18-34.

On the original series front, TNT's hit investigative series Cold Justice booked 2.8 million viewers in Live + 7 delivery for its April 24 episode and encore, a +6% increase over the prior week. In key demos, Cold Justice garnered 1.3 million adults 25-54 (+7% vs. the prior week) and 1.1 million adults 18-49 (+13%). Across TNT's multiple platforms, Cold Justice is reaching an average of 3.0 million viewers per episode.

Adult Swim

For the entire month of April 2015, Adult Swim ranked as basic cable's #1 network in Total Day delivery among adults and men 18-24, 18-34 and 18-49.

Childrens Hospital (Fridays, 12a) ranked as basic cable's #1 program in its timeslot among adults 18-24 and 18-34, and this month's premieres grew by double-digits over last month's among all key demos.

April's premieres of China, IL improved delivery over the prior month's premieres among Adults 18-24, 18-34 and all key men.

TBS

TBS topped the charts as basic cable's #1 network in primetime with adults 18-49 and total viewers for the month of April, as well as the #2 network behind Adult Swim among adults 18-34.

TBS's new comedy Your Family or Mine garnered a combined audience of 2.9 million viewers in Live + 7 delivery for its April 21 episode and encores, +13% compared to the prior week. In key demos, the show drew 1.3 million adults 18-49 (+7% vs. the prior week) and 578,000 adults 18-34 (+8%).

The April 24 episode of TBS's Meet the Smiths grabbed 1.5 million viewers in Live + 7 delivery for its premiere telecast and encore, +8% vs. the prior week. The show also scored +24% growth among adults 18-34 compared to the prior week.

Cartoon Network

For the entire month of April 2015, Cartoon Network ranked as television's #2 network in Total Day delivery (6a-8p) among kids 6-11 & 9-14. The network also ranked as television's #1 in Total Day delivery among boys 6-11 and 9-14.

Cartoon Network charted year-over-year double-digit delivery gains among all key kids between 13%-19%.

Cartoon Network was television's #1 destination for all key kids and boys on Thursday Night. All Thursday Night premieres - Clarence (5p), Steven Universe (5:30p), Teen Titans Go! (6p) and Adventure Time (7:30p) -grew by double and triple digits across all key demos, and most ranked #1 in their respective timeslots across kids 2-11, 6-11 and all key boys.

truTV

truTV continues to get younger, scoring a median age of only 37 in April, the second youngest monthly median age in the network's history and four years younger than the same month last year. The network's median age for the final week of April was even lower - 36 - a remarkable nine years younger than the same week last year. Meanwhile truTV's competitors, including History, A&E, Discovery, Syfy, Spike, Bravo and Comedy Central are all getting older.

Impractical Jokers closed out April with 1.9 million viewers for its April 23 episode, +5% over the prior week. In key demos, the show scored 1.2 million adults 18-49 (+7% vs. the prior week) and 622,000 adults 18-34 (+12%). Male demos were also up as the show ranked as one of basic cable's Top 5 programs in its timeslot with key adult and male viewers, as well as total viewers and women 18-49. In addition, Impractical Jokers drew more adults 18-49 than such timeslot competitors as A&E's 8 Minutes and FX's The Comedians combined.

NBA TV

NBA TV's primetime viewership was up 19% last week among total viewership compared with the same week in 2014. Saturday's premiere of NBA Inside Stuff saw an increase of +32% over the corresponding date last year.
