Thursday's Broadcast Ratings: FOX Tops Tight Demo Race

Here are the highlights of the 13 ad-sustained programs that aired in primetime on the broadcast networks last night (5/28/15):

FOX (4.665 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.2, #1) was the demo champ on a competitive Thursday with new episodes of "Bones" (5.374 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 1.2, #T2) and "Wayward Pines" (3.956 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 1.2, #T2).

NBC (5.922 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.1, #2) then claimed the silver with a new "Dateline NBC" (6.390 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.2, #T2) and the launch of "Aquarius" (5.688 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.0, #T7).

Next up was CBS (5.097 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.0, #3) and its repeat lineup of "The Big Bang Theory" (7.514 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.4, #1), "The Odd Couple" (5.437 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 1.1, #T5), "Mom" (4.883 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 1.0, #T7), "Mike & Molly" (4.750 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 1.0, #T7) and "Elementary" (4.000 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 0.7, #10).

Meanwhile, ABC (4.272 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.9, #4) served up the season finale of "500 Questions" (5.038 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 1.1, #T5) and a special "Jimmy Kimmel Live" (2.740 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 0.6, #11).

And finally, repeats of "iZombie" (0.780 million viewers, #12; adults 18-49: 0.3, #12) and "The Vampire Diaries" (0.470 million viewers, #13; adults 18-49: 0.2, #13) on The CW (0.625 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.2, #5) closed out the evening. In the netlet's target demo (women 18-34), the former delivered a 0.3 rating at 8:00/7:00c and the latter a 0.2 rating at 9:00/8:00c.

· In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 0.9/4 with an encore; "The Mentalist" rebroadcast, 0.4/2; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.6/3 with an encore.

· From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.4/4 in metered-market households and a 0.4/3 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.

· From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, "Late Night with Seth Meyers" (1.2/4 in metered-market households with an encore) beat CBS's "Late Late Show with James Corden" (0.9/3 with an encore). In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, "Late Night" (0.4/3 in 18-49 with an encore) topped "Late Late Show" (0.2/2 with an encore).

· At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.7/3 in metered-market households with an encore and a 0.2/2 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.

CBS (5.904 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.3, #T1) was the most-watched network on Thursday despite its all-repeat linuep of "The Big Bang Theory" (8.693 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 2.0, #1), "Mom" (6.446 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.5, #T4), "Two and a Half Men" (6.242 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.5, #T4), "The Millers" (5.030 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 1.2, #T8) and "Elementary" (4.506 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 0.8, #11).

NBC (4.256 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.3, #T1) then shared the demo honors with a new "Hollywood Game Night" (4.302 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 1.2, #T8), the premiere of "Undateable" (3.854 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 1.3, #T6), a second "Undateable" (3.801 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 1.3, #T6) and a new "Last Comic Standing" (4.639 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 1.6, #T2).

Next up was FOX (3.829 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.3, #T1) with its duo of "Hell's Kitchen" (4.485 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 1.6, #T2) and "Gang Related" (3.172 million viewers, #12; adults 18-49: 0.9, #10).

Meanwhile, ABC (2.860 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.6, #4) offered up a rebroadcast of "The Bachelorette" (2.494 million viewers, #13; adults 18-49: 0.5, #13) alongside a new "Black Box" (3.593 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 0.7, #12).

And finally, repeats of "The Vampire Diaries" (0.844 million viewers, #14; adults 18-49: 0.3, #T14) and "The Originals" (0.814 million viewers, #15; adults 18-49: 0.3, #T14) on The CW (0.829 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.3, #5) closed out the night.
