[via press release from NBC]

In Late-Night Metered-Market Household Averages for Saturday Night:

· An encore telecast of "Saturday Night Live," with host Scarlett Johansson and musical guest Wiz Khalifa, averaged a 2.3 rating, 6 share in household results in Nielsen's 56 metered markets and a 1.0/5 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with Local People Meters, matching the show's highest 18-49 rating in the local people meters in eight weeks (since June 20, with host and musical guest Blake Shelton, 1.1/6).

· Over that span, "SNL" also earned a 1.0 rating in 18-49 on July 18 (with host Kevin Hart and musical guest Sia). In metered-market households, last night's 2.3 is the show's highest rating since that same July 18 telecast (2.4/7).

· Last night's "SNL" was the #1 program of the night on the Big 4 networks in 18-49 in the Local People Meters, beating all the night's primetime programming on those networks.

· Note that "SNL" adds significant viewership via time-shifting, with originals this season growing by an average of +44% going from "live plus same day ratings" to "live plus seven day" in adults 18-49 (from a 1.84 rating to a 2.65).

Saturday Primetime Results:

Note: Some local preemptions for NFL preseason football.

· NBC Sports coverage of the "P&G Championships: Women's Gymnastics" is currently scoring a 0.6/3 in 18-49 and 2.9 million viewers overall from 8-10 p.m. ET, pending updates. If these results stand in official nationals, it will be an increase versus year-ago coverage of +50% in adult 18-49 rating (0.6 vs. 0.4 from 8-10 on Saturday, Aug. 23, 2014) and +47% in total viewers (2.918 million vs. 1.986 million).

· The "P&G Championships" is currently reporting NBC's highest 18-49 rating in the time period since July 11 (0.6) and biggest overall audience in the slot since July 4 (5.0 million).

· The "P&G Championships" currently ranks #2 in the time period among ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox in adults 18-49, adults 25-54 (tie), adults 18-34 and all key adult-female demos.

· "Hannibal" is currently averaging a 0.4/2 in 18-49 and 1.5 million viewers overall from 10-11 p.m. ET. If these results stand in official nationals, it will be the top-scoring "Hannibal" in both measures among five Saturday telecasts so far this season. The 0.4 would also match the top "Hannibal" rating since Thursday, June 18 (0.5) and the 1.452 million viewers would be a high since Thursday, June 25 (1.458 million).

· "Hannibal" will grow substantially via time-shifting -- "Hannibal" is increasing by +57% in 18-49 rating (from a 0.44 to a 0.69) and 627,000 viewers overall (1.6 million to 2.2 million) going from L+SD to L+7.

NOTE: Primetime results are based on "fast affiliate time period" data from Nielsen Media Research. All ratings are "live plus same day" unless otherwise indicated.
