ABC's Dancing Builds for the 2nd Week to Best-Since-Premiere Numbers

ABC Monday Prime (8-11pm - 10.4 million and 1.7/5 in AD18-49): ABC took second among the broadcasters on Monday night in Total Viewers (10.4 million) and Adults 18-49 (1.7/5) to NBC, with Dancing as the most-watched series overall (12.6 million). The Net was up week to week in viewers (+6%) and young adults (+13%), tying a Monday season high in Adults 18-49.

Dancing With the Stars (8-10pm - 12.6 million and 2.0/6 in AD18-49): From 8-10pm, ABC's Dancing with the Stars beat NBC's The Voice in Total Viewers (+5% - 12.6 million vs. 12.0 million) and beat out CBS' dramas (Supergirl/Scorpion = 8.7 million and 1.8/5) in the 2-hour time slot by 3.9 million viewers and by 11% in Adults 18-49.

· The ABC unscripted series grew for the 2nd-consecutive week in Total Viewers (+4%) and Adults 18-49 (+5%) to deliver best-since-premiere numbers - since 9/14/15.

Castle (10-11pm - 6.2 million and 1.0/3 in AD18-49): At 10pm, ABC's Castle returned from the prior week's preemption with 6.2 million viewers and a 1.0/3 in Adults 18-49.

A note about DVR penetration: DVR penetration in the Nielsen sample is currently at 48% in U.S. TV Homes. As a result, the Live + 7 Day ratings are the most accurate measure to gauge the size of the TV audience.
