CAR LOVERS DRIVE VELOCITY'S PREMIERE WEEK FROM SEMA TO HUGE RATINGS AND DELIVERY WINS
The Weeklong Stunt Featuring All New Episodes From Top Franchises Draws Nearly 5 Million Viewers in Primetime
(Silver Spring, Md.) Velocity, America's #1 network for cars, treated its audience to a weeklong marathon of all new episodes from fan favorite series that included exclusive live reporting from the center of the auto universe: The SEMA Show in Las Vegas. 4.7 million car-crazy viewers tuned in to the Primetime lineup resulting in ratings and delivery victories across the week.
Despite tough competition, the stunt resulted in Velocity's second best week of 2015 in both Primetime delivery and ratings across most target demos including P/M25-54, P/M18-49, P/M18-34, Men (M18+) and P2+. Specific night-by-night highlights include:
· In a competitive Monday night timeslot against professional football, CHASING CLASSIC CARS (11/2) drove Monday Prime to P2+ delivery gains of (86%) versus the prior 6-week Mondays and (+163%) versus Monday Prime in from November 2014.
· Tuesday's (11/3) double stack of BITCHIN RIDES pulled the series' highest ever ratings across male demo targets which drew (+24%) gains in the M(18-49) demos over Season 1.
· Wednesday's (11/4) OVERHAULIN series finale premiere was Velocity's #1 delivering telecast ever for Men (M18+) and Households in the history of the show on the network.
· The Thursday (11/5) and Friday (11/6) stacks of FANTOMWORKS and WHEELER DEALERS drove double digit P2+ delivery gains (vs. prior 6 weeks) up (+20%) and (+37%) respectively for each night.
