NBC Wins Friday night among the Big 4 in adults 18-49, adults 25-54 and total viewers.
"Dateline NBC" (1.1/4 in 18-49, 5.6 million viewers overall from 9-11 p.m. ET):
· Ties for the #1 rating of the night on the Big 4 in adults 18-49 (equaling Fox's "MasterChef Jr.," 1.1 each).
· Ranks #1 outright for the night on the Big 4 in adults 25-54 (1.6).
· Delivers its most-watched telecast since Oct. 2 (5.686 million) and equaled its season high in adults 25-54 (1.6).
· Wins the two-hour slot among the Big 4 in adults 18-49, total viewers and adults 25-54, and is #1 or tied for #1 among those nets in every key measure.
· Grows week to week by +18% in adults 18-49 (1.1 vs. 0.9 from 10-11 p.m. on Dec. 11), +23% in adults 25-54 (1.6 vs. 1.3) and +37% in total viewers (5.646 million vs. 4.135 million).
· Is the #1 newsmagazine of the night in every key measure.
· Will add significant viewership via time-shifting -- Friday's "Dateline NBC" has grown by +29% this season in 18-49 rating (from a 0.97 to a 1.25) and 957,000 viewers overall (4.6 million to 5.6 million) going from L+SD to L+7.
"Caught on Camera with Nick Cannon" (0.7/3 in 18-49, 3.4 million viewers overall from 8-9 p.m. ET):
· Outdelivers each of its prior four telecasts in 18-49 and total viewers (Saturday editions on Dec. 12, June 20, April 11 and March 7).
· Grows versus last week's Saturday telecast by +133% in adults 18-49 (0.7 vs. 0.3 from 8-8:30 on Dec. 12) and +96% in total viewers (3.406 million vs. 1.735 million).
· Equals NBC's highest 18-49 rating in the hour since Oct. 16 (0.8).
In Late-Night Metered Markets Friday Night:
· In adult 18-49 rating in the local people meters, Fallon (1.1) topped the combined results of ABC's rebroadcast of "Jimmy Kimmel Live" (0.5) and CBS's "Late Show with Stephen Colbert" (0.4).
· In 18-49 in the local people meters, Meyers' encore (0.6) beat a rebroadcast Kimmel (0.5) and an original Colbert (0.4), despite his later start time.
· In 18-49, a Carson Daly encore (0.3) beat Corden's rebroadcast (0.2), despite starting an hour later.
· Fallon's guests Friday night included Channing Tatum, John Boyega and musical guest Young People's Chorus of New York City.
· Meyers' guests Friday included Hillary Clinton, Samantha Bee and musical guest Andrea Bocelli (encore).
· Daly's guests Friday night included Mike Rowe, Welcome To Leith and musical guest Wolf Alice (encore).
· In Nielsen's 56 metered markets, household results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 3.2/8; "Late Show with Stephen Colbert," 2.0/5; and ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 1.8/4 with an encore.
· In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 1.1/5; "Late Show," 0.4/2; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.5/2 with an encore.
· From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.4/4 in metered-market households and a 0.4/2 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.
· From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, "Late Night with Seth Meyers" (1.5/5 in metered-market households with an encore) beat CBS's "Late Late Show" (1.0/3 with an encore). In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, "Late Night" (0.6/4 in 18-49 with an encore) topped "Late Late Show" (0.2/2 with an encore).
· At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.8/3 in metered-market households with an encore and a 0.3/2 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.
