HGTV's "Flip or Flop" Delivers Record-Breaking Rating Among P25-54 on Thursday, January 7
NEW YORK [For Immediate Release - January 11, 2016] The Thursday, January 7, episode of HGTV's Flip or Flop that premiered at 9 p.m. ET/PT averaged a .99 rating among viewers P25-54, making it the highest rated premiere telecast of the series ever. The episode grew 39% over last year among P25-54 ratings and ranked as the #4 cable program on Thursday night among P25-54 ratings. Flip or Flop ranked as the #1 cable program among upscale viewers P25-54 and upscale W25-54 for the Thursday 9 p.m.-9:30 p.m. time period. It also secured the #2 spot in its time period among viewers P25-54. The success of Flip or Flop helped HGTV rank as the #2 cable network among W25-54 and #3 cable network among P25-54 on Thursday night. Among upscale audiences, HGTV ranked as the #1 cable network among upscale P25-54 and upscale W25-54 on Thursday night (8 p.m.-12 a.m.).
