TRAVEL CHANNEL UP 10% IN FEBRUARY 2016
NEW YORK (March 1, 2016) - Travel Channel just wrapped February with a 10% increase in its prime rating year-over-year among viewers P25-54. This is Travel Channel's fourth consecutive month of year-over-year ratings growth among viewers P25-54 in prime.
Travel Channel also posted its highest-rated February in five years among P25-54 for its two key programming nights. Current Tuesday night programs, "Bizarre Foods: Delicious Destinations" at 9 p.m. and "Booze Traveler," at 10 p.m. were respectively up 130% and 53% in their time period, year-over-year, among P25-54. Wednesday's "Expedition Unknown" at 9 p.m. showed gains of 186% in its time period year over year. A new addition to the Travel Channel Wednesday programming slate, "Wild Things with Dominic Monaghan" at 10 p.m., delivered P25-54 ratings in that time period that were 22% higher than last year.

"We continue to see consistent performance and solid ratings on Tuesday and Wednesday nights in prime with hit series like Expedition Unknown' with Josh Gates, Jack Maxwell's 'Booze Traveler' and the 'Bizarre Foods' franchise featuring Andrew Zimmern."
