Duct Tape Special Pushes Science Channel to Most Watched Night Ever among Persons and Men 25-54 and 18-49
The never-before-seen MYTHBUSTERS duct tape special set network records among Persons and Men 25-54 and 18-49 and was Science Channel's #3 most watched telecast of all time with 910,000 total viewers on Sun. March 6 at 8PM in P2+. Among Persons 25-54 the episode was a top 5 telecast in network history. Additionally, the MYTHBUSTERS episode drove Science Channel to be a top 6 cable network in the timeslot among Men 25-54.
Following the series finale on Discovery Channel on March 5, Science Channel premiered this never-before-seen episode from the series on Sunday March 6 at 8pm. This special episode featured one of the duo's favorite mechanical cure-alls: duct tape. During the run of MYTHBUSTERS, duct tape has been the focus of many stories and crucial to almost every myth the team has tackled. Adam and Jamie have built boats, hats and even a bridge.
