"Chicago Med" Is Currently at Season Highs in 18-49 and Total Viewers
NBC spins the numbers for Thursday, November 3.

Thursday Primetime Ratings:

NBC is currently running within 0.1 of the Thursday nightlong lead among the Big 4 networks in adults 18-49 (with a 1.4 rating vs. a 1.5 for CBS), while on the same night last year, NBC ran a full point behind #1 ABC (1.1 vs. 2.1). Note that NBC carried NFL football last night in the Atlanta and Tampa markets,

"Chicago Med" (1.6/5 in 18-49, 7.4 million viewers overall from 9-10 p.m. ET):

· Is currently at season highs in 18-49 and total viewers, pending updates.

· Is matching its highest 18-49 rating since April 26 (1.8).

· Is currently up +14% versus last week's 1.4 in these prelim fast-affiliate ratings in 18-49 (1.6 vs. 1.4) and +7% versus last week's 1.5 in official nationals.

· In total viewers, is currently up +9% versus last week's 6.836 million in fast-affiliate Nielsens and up +4% versus last week's 7.106 million in official nationals.

· Wins the slot among the Big 4 in 18-49 and total viewers to remain undefeated in the hour this season versus regular non-sports competition on the Big 4 nets in both 18-49 and total viewers.

· Is currently matching what it averaged over its last six telecasts last spring with a "Voice" lead-in (1.6 from April 5 through May 17).

· Will add substantial viewership via time-shifting and VOD - So far this season, "Med" has been increasing by +66% in 18-49 rating going from L+SD to L+7 (from a 1.31 to a 2.18) and +3.3 million viewers overall (6.8 million to 10.1 million).

"The Blacklist" (1.3/5 in 18-49, 6.1 million viewers overall from 10-11 p.m. ET):

· Is currently matching its season high in 18-49, pending updates.

· Is equaling its highest 18-49 rating since April 14 (1.4).

· Is winning the slot among the ABC-CBS-NBC dramas in 18-49 and total viewers.

· Remains undefeated against non-sports competition on ABC, CBS and NBC in the time period this season in total viewers.

· Is currently up +8% week to week in 18-49 (1.3 vs. 1.2) and up +11% in total viewers (6.145 million vs. 5.515 million), pending updates.

· Will increase dramatically via time-shifting and VOD - "Blacklist" has grown by +111% in 18-49 rating so far this season going from L+SD to L+7 (1.14 to a 2.41) and +4.9 million viewers overall (6.0 million to 10.9 million).

· Upscale: "Blacklist" is delivering a strong upscale audience, indexing at a 123 among adults 18-49 in $100K+ homes.

"The Good Place" (1.4/5 in 18-49, 4.4 million viewers overall from 8:30-9 p.m. ET):

· Is currently equaling its highest regular-slot rating to date in 18-49, pending updates.

· Is currently up +27% versus last week's 1.1 in these prelim fast-affiliate 18-49 ratings and up +14% versus last week's 1.2 in official nationals.

· In total viewers, is currently up +14% versus both last week's 3.891 million in fast-affiliate ratings and last week's 3.885 million in official nationals.

· Equaled or built on its adult 18-49 lead-in for a fifth time in six telecasts.

· Will grow substantially with the addition of time-shifting and VOD - "The Good Place" is increasing by +66% in 18-49 rating going from L+SD to L+7 so far this season (from a 1.24 to a 2.06) and more than +2.1 million viewers overall (4.5 million to 6.7 million).

· Upscale: "Good Place" is generating a strong upscale audience, indexing at a 133 among adults 18-49 living in homes with $100K+ incomes (100 represents an average concentration of those homes).

"Superstore" (1.2/5 in 18-49, 4.0 million viewers overall from 8-8:30 p.m. ET):

· Is currently running within 0.1 of last week's 1.3, which matched the show's high since its season premiere.

· Is retaining +96% week to week in total viewers (4.047 million vs. 4.213 million), pending updates.

· Will add substantial viewership via time-shifting and VOD - so far this season, "Superstore" is growing by +50% in 18-49 rating going from L+SD to L+7 (from a 1.25 to a 1.87) and +1.3 million viewers overall (4.7 million to 6.0 million).

· Upscale: "Superstore" is delivering a strong upscale audience, indexing at a 118 among adults 18-49 in $100K+ homes.

· Non-Linear Viewership: Last season "Superstore" averaged an additional 1.93 rating in 18-49 on non-linear digital platforms, making it NBC's highest rated show on a non-linear basis and the show is generating even bigger digital numbers this season.

In Late-Night Metered Markets Thursday Night:

· In Nielsen's 56 metered markets, household results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 2.5/7; "Late Show with Stephen Colbert," 2.0/5; and ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 1.8/5.

· In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 0.9/5; "Late Show," 0.4/2; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.5/3.

· From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.2/4 in metered-market households and a 0.3/2 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.

· From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, ratings were: "Late Night with Seth Meyers," 1.2/4 in metered-market households; CBS's "Late Late Show," 1.0/4. In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, averages were: "Late Night," 0.4/3 in 18-49; "Late Late Show," 0.2/2.

· At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.7/3 in metered-market households and a 0.2/2 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.
