Tuesday's Broadcast Ratings: "The Voice" Finale Gives Demo Crown to NBC

Here are the highlights of the 15 ad-sustained programs that aired in primetime on the broadcast networks last night (12/13/16):

NBC (10.980 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 2.2, #1) took home the demo crown on Tuesday with a "The Voice Recap" (8.850 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 1.7, #3) followed by the season finale of "The Voice" (12.045 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 2.5, #1).

CBS (12.072 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.5, #2) then was the most-watched broadcaster with its trio of "NCIS" (14.701 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.8, #2), "Bull" (11.558 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.4, #6) and "NCIS: New Orleans" (9.958 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 1.2, #T7).

Next up was ABC (3.875 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.0, #3) and its mix of "The Middle" (6.637 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 1.6, #4), "American Housewife" (5.569 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 1.5, #5), "Fresh Off the Boat" (4.050 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 1.2, #T7) and "The Real O'Neals" (3.304 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 0.9, #T9) followed by an encore of "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" (1.844 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 0.5, #T12).

Meanwhile, FOX (1.564 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.7, #4) served up originals from "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" (2.187 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 0.9, #T9), "New Girl" (1.708 million viewers, #12; adults 18-49: 0.8, #11) and "Scream Queens" (1.182 million viewers, #13; adults 18-49: 0.5, #T12).

And finally, repeats of "The Flash" (0.969 million viewers, #14; adults 18-49: 0.3, #14) and "DC's Legends of Tomorrow" (0.792 million viewers, #15; adults 18-49: 0.2, #15) on The CW (0.880 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.2, #5) wrapped up the night.

· In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 0.8/5; "Late Show," 0.5/3; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.5/3.

· From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.1/4 in metered-market households and a 0.3/2 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.

· From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, ratings were: "Late Night with Seth Meyers," 1.5/5 in metered-market households; CBS's "Late Late Show," 1.3/5. In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, averages were: "Late Night," 0.4/3 in 18-49; "Late Late Show," 0.3/2.

· At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.8/4 in metered-market households and a 0.3/3 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.


Here are the highlights of the 15 ad-sustained programs that aired in primetime on the broadcast networks one year ago (12/15/15):

NBC (11.220 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 2.5, #1) was the network to beat among adults 18-49 on Tuesday with a "The Voice" (8.458 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 1.8, #3) recap special alongside the two-hour season finale of "The Voice" (12.602 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 2.9, #1).

The silver then went to CBS (11.352 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.7, #2) with the fall finales of "NCIS" (15.447 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 2.1, #2), "NCIS: New Orleans" (11.975 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.6, #4) and "Limitless" (6.634 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 1.3, #5).

Next up was ABC (3.081 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 0.9, #3) and its mix of "Toy Story That Time Forgot" (3.631 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 1.1, #6), "Shrek the Halls" (3.336 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 1.0, #T7), "I Want a Dog for Christmas, Charlie Brown" (3.278 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 1.0, #T7) and "Shark Tank" (2.483 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 0.8, #9).

Meanwhile, FOX (1.539 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.5, #4) offered up its repeat lineup of "Grandfathered" (2.056 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 0.6, #10), "The Grinder" (1.603 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 0.5, #11), another "Grandfathered" (1.327 million viewers, #12; adults 18-49: 0.4, #T12) and another "The Grinder" (1.169 million viewers, #13; adults 18-49: 0.4, #T12).
