Monday's Broadcast Ratings: NBC Tops Charts with "Got Talent," "The Wall"

Here are the highlights of the 13 ad-sustained programs that aired in primetime on the broadcast networks last night (12/19/16):

NBC (8.485 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.7, #1) was still the network to beat on Monday with its special presentations of "America's Got Talent: Holiday Spectacular" (9.485 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.8, #1) and "The Wall" (6.485 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 1.6, #2).

CBS (7.489 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.2, #2) then was the silver draw with its mix of "First Lady Michelle Obama Says Farewell to the White House: An Oprah Winfrey Special" (9.386 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.3, #3), "Man with a Plan" (6.182 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 1.1, #8), "2 Broke Girls" (5.072 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 1.2, #T4) and "Scorpion" (7.455 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.2, #T4).

Next up was ABC (4.624 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.1, #3) with a new "The Great Christmas Light Fight" (5.264 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 1.2, #T4), the season finale of "The Great Christmas Light Fight" (5.000 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 1.2, #T4) and a repeat "The Great Holiday Baking Show" (3.608 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 0.9, #9).

Meanwhile, FOX (1.580 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.4, #4) opted for repeats of "Gotham" (1.528 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 0.4, #T10) and "Lucifer" (1.631 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 0.4, #T10).

And finally, a repeat "Supergirl" (1.331 million viewers, #12; adults 18-49: 0.4, #T10) and the special "Marie Claire Young Women's Honors Presented by Clinique" (0.538 million viewers, #13; adults 18-49: 0.2, #13) concluded the evening on The CW (0.935 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.3, #5).

· From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.1/4 in metered-market households and a 0.4/2 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.

· From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, ratings were: "Late Night with Seth Meyers," 1.5/5 in metered-market households; CBS's "Late Late Show," 0.9/3 with an encore. In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, averages were: "Late Night," 0.5/3 in 18-49; "Late Late Show," 0.2/1 with an encore.

· At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.8/3 in metered-market households with an encore and a 0.3/3 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.

CBS (6.000 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.2, #T1) was the most-watched network on Monday with its repeat lineup of "The Big Bang Theory" (8.443 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.7, #2), another "The Big Bang Theory" (8.457 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.8, #1), "Supergirl" (4.597 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 1.0, #7) and "Scorpion" (4.953 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.8, #T8).
