Monday Primetime Ratings:
NBC wins the night among the Big 4 in every key measure with the #1 and #2 shows of the night in adults 18-49, "America's Got Talent: Holiday Spectacular" and a special preview of "The Wall."
Note that ABC stations in Washington, D.C. and Charlotte carried NFL football and ABC results are subject to downward adjustment.
A preview of "The Wall" (1.6/6 in 18-49, 6.5 million viewers overall from 10-11 p.m. ET):
· Generated strong sampling, retaining 89% of its lead-in from the "Talent" special in adults 18-49 (1.6 vs. 1.8).
· Holds 100% half-hour to half-hour in adults 18-49 (1.6 vs. 1.6), despite the 10 p.m. hour.
· Wins the slot among ABC, CBS and NBC in every key demographic - adults, men and women 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54.
"America's Got Talent: Holiday Spectacular" (1.8/6 in 18-49, 9.5 million viewers overall from 8-10 p.m. ET):
· Is the night's #1 show on the Big 4 networks in all key categories - adults, men and women 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54, plus total viewers.
· Wins the time period among those nets in every key measure.
In Late-Night Metered Markets Monday Night:
· In Nielsen's 56 metered markets, household results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 2.7/7; "Late Show with Stephen Colbert," 1.9/5; and ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 1.8/4 with an encore.
· In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 1.0/5; "Late Show," 0.3/2; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.7/3 with an encore.
· From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.1/4 in metered-market households and a 0.4/2 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.
· From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, ratings were: "Late Night with Seth Meyers," 1.5/5 in metered-market households; CBS's "Late Late Show," 0.9/3 with an encore. In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, averages were: "Late Night," 0.5/3 in 18-49; "Late Late Show," 0.2/1 with an encore.
· At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.8/3 in metered-market households with an encore and a 0.3/3 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.
