Packers-Lions on "Sunday Night Football" Dominates in Every Key Measure
NBC spins the numbers for Sunday, January 1.

NBC Sports coverage of the "Sunday Night Football" game featuring the Green Bay Packers at the Detroit Lions averaged a 13.7 rating, 23 share from 8:30-11:30 p.m. ET in household results from the 56 markets metered by Nielsen Media Research (not including digital data). The Packers NFC North-clinching win over Lions easily won the night in both metered-market households and adults 18-49 in the local people meters

The overnight rating peaked at a 14.4/23 from 9:30-10 p.m. ET.

NBC's "SNF" has posted an overnight rating of 13.7 or better for three of the season's final four games for first time since 2010.

The 13.7 rating for Packers-Lions equals the Week 2 Packers-Vikings matchup as the best Green Bay overnight on "NBC Sunday Night Football" this season.

In the Detroit market, the game posts a 37.7/55, the best-ever rating for the Lions in five appearances on NBC's "Sunday Night Football."

Regarding this morning's Nielsens, note that the fast-affiliate ratings that came in at 11 a.m. ET/8 a.m. PT are not time zone-adjusted and are subject to change for live sports coverage.

In these preliminary results, NBC dominates the night among ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox in adults 18-49, total viewers and every other key category in the fast-affiliate ratings.
