NEW YORK, NY - March 1, 2017 - The series premiere of WE tv's "Mama June: From Not to Hot" on Friday, February 24 delivered 2.3 million total viewers in Nielsen live+3 ratings, making it the network's highest series premiere ever in total viewers and among key demos. The show ranked as Friday night's #1 program among women and the #1 ad-supported cable program in its time period. The show features June Shannon, aka "Mama June," on her journey through a life-changing physical and emotional transformation that will leave one of America's most recognizable personalities virtually unrecognizable.

The "Mama June: From Not to Hot" series premiere on Friday, February 24 at 10:00 p.m. ET / PT delivered (live+3):

· 2.294 million total viewers, an increase of 61% over live/same day

· 1.13 million adults 25-54, an increase of 84% over live/same day

· 1.089 million adults 18-49, an increase of 88% over live/same day

· 839,000 women 25-54, an increase of 84% over live/same day

· 802,000 women 18-49, an increase of 89% over live/same day

"Mama June: From Not to Hot" documents Mama June's entire journey, from the moment she learns that her Ex (Sugar Bear) is getting hitched, right up to her shocking reveal in front of the universe. During this extraordinary process, she undergoes not only a series of extensive plastic surgeries, but also intensive workouts with an unlikely trainer, Kenya Crooks, who forces her to change her entire way of thinking. June battles self-doubt, ongoing temptation to cheat, and a string of hilariously disastrous dates to become the woman she has always wanted to be.

Episode two of "Mama June: From Not to Hot" premieres this Friday, March 3rd at 10:00 PM ET/PT on WE tv. In the upcoming episode, Mama June goes under the knife for weight loss surgery in an effort to achieve her total body transformation. After a few months of sticking to the all-liquid diet required after surgery, June makes a shocking weight loss reveal to her family. At the same time, unbeknownst to Mama, her daughters Alana and Pumpkin and niece Amber have made her an online dating profile.
