Monday's Broadcast Ratings: NBC Holds Onto Demo Crown with "The Voice"

Here are the highlights of the 13 ad-sustained programs that aired in primetime on the broadcast networks last night (3/27/17):

NBC (8.636 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.9, #1) was back in the top spot on Monday with new episodes from "The Voice" (10.330 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 2.3, #1) and "Taken" (5.249 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 1.1, #T4).

ABC (8.467 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.4, #2) then claimed the silver with new episodes of "Dancing with the Stars" (10.976 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.6, #2) and "Quantico" (3.450 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 0.8, #T9).

Next up was CBS (5.026 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.0, #3) with repeats of "The Big Bang Theory" (6.673 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.2, #3) and "Kevin Can Wait" (5.233 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 1.1, #T4) followed by a new "Superior Donuts" (5.276 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 1.1, #T4), a special "The Great Indoors" (4.075 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 0.9, #T7) and a repeat "Scorpion" (4.449 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 0.8, #T9).

Meanwhile, FOX (3.009 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.7, #4) offered up fresh installments of "24: Legacy" (3.188 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 0.9, #T7) and "APB" (2.831 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 0.6, #12).

And finally, The CW (1.568 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.5, #5) likewise served up originals from "Supergirl" (2.198 million viewers, #12; adults 18-49: 0.7, #11) and "Jane the Virgin" (0.939 million viewers, #13; adults 18-49: 0.4, #13).

· In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 0.6/4; "Late Show," 0.4/3; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.3/2 with an encore.

· From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.0/3 in metered-market households and a 0.2/2 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.

· From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, ratings were: "Late Night with Seth Meyers," 1.3/5 in metered-market households; CBS's "Late Late Show," 1.0/4. In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, averages were: "Late Night," 0.3/3 in 18-49; "Late Late Show," 0.3/2.

· At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.7/3 in metered-market households and a 0.2/2 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.


Here are the highlights of the 11 ad-sustained programs that aired in primetime on the broadcast networks one year ago (3/28/16):

NBC (9.527 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 2.4, #1) was the network to beat on Monday with originals from "The Voice" (11.219 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 2.8, #1) and "Blindspot" (6.142 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 1.6, #T4).

The silver medal then went to CBS (8.196 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.5, #2) and its trio of "Supergirl" (7.241 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 1.7, #T2), "Scorpion" (8.626 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 1.6, #T4) and "NCIS: Los Angeles" (8.723 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.2, #T7).

Next up was ABC (9.324 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.3, #T3) with a new "Dancing with the Stars" (11.833 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.7, #T2) and a special encore of "The Catch" (4.308 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 0.7, #9).

Meanwhile, FOX (3.781 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 1.3, #T3) offered up fresh installments of "Gotham" (3.775 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 1.3, #6) and "Lucifer" (3.787 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 1.2, #T7).

And finally, The CW (0.924 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.4, #5) closed out the evening with new episodes of "Crazy Ex-Girlfriend" (0.921 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 0.3, #11) and "Jane the Virgin" (0.928 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 0.4, #10).
