TLC Breaks Record Ratings on Sunday Night with Veteran Series and Premiere of Live Television Event

TLC BREAKS RECORD RATINGS ON SUNDAY NIGHT WITH VETERAN SERIES AND PREMIERE OF LIVE TELEVISION EVENT

TLC had its most watched Sunday night in two-years with 1.9M P2+ viewers driven by popular series LONG ISLAND MEDIUM, LONG LOST FAMILY, and premiere of unprecedented LIVE event THIS IS LIFE LIVE.

At 8/7c, long running series LONG ISLAND MEDIUM delivered the most watched episode in over a year with 1.8M P2+ viewers. Directly following, TLC's popular LONG LOST FAMILY captured its most watched episode ever with 2.0M P2+ viewers and lead into the first night of companion series and live television event THIS IS LIFE LIVE, four-nights of ground breaking television that delves into the lives of families across the country to deliver life altering moments as they unfold in real time. The night's successful lineup helped propel TLC into the top ten most social primetime cable networks ranking #9 overall.*

In its first night, a paralyzed groom walks for the first time down the aisle to meet his bride, as well as a woman meeting her long-lost sister she recently realized she had, THIS IS LIFE LIVE premiered to an average of 1.8 P2+ viewers. The four-night event continues tonight with more life-changing moments shared LIVE.

Watch these families go on a personal journey and share the joy, elation and surprise of once-in-a-lifetime transformative moments. THIS IS LIFE LIVE will deliver authentic stories in an unfiltered way while revealing an unmissable live moment.

And each night, immediately following the show, viewers at home will have the chance to have their questions answered by the participants during the live aftershow on TLC's Facebook page. Night one's aftershow reached approximately half a million people on Facebook in less than 24 hours.
