Wednesday's Broadcast Ratings: CBS Takes Home Top Honors with "Big Brother"

Here are the highlights of the 17 ad-sustained programs that aired in primetime on the broadcast networks last night (7/19/17):

CBS (4.877 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.0, #1) edged out the competition on Wednesday with new episodes of "Big Brother 19" (6.152 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.8, #1) and "Salvation" (4.289 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 0.7, #T4) plus a repeat "Criminal Minds" (4.192 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.6, #T7).

The silver then went to FOX (2.760 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 0.9, #2) with fresh installments of "MasterChef" (3.419 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 1.1, #2) and "The F Word with Gordon Ramsay" (2.101 million viewers, #13; adults 18-49: 0.7, #T4).

Next up was NBC (3.581 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 0.6, #T3) with originals from "Little Big Shots: Forever Young" (5.781 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 0.8, #3) and "The Carmichael Show" (3.267 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 0.7, #T4) followed by repeats of "The Carmichael Show" (2.641 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 0.6, #T7) and "This Is Us" (2.009 million viewers, #14; adults 18-49: 0.4, #15).

Meanwhile, ABC (2.383 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.6, #T3) resumed repeats of "The Goldbergs" (3.006 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 0.6, #T7), "Speechless" (2.177 million viewers, #12; adults 18-49: 0.5, #T13), "Modern Family" (2.524 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 0.6, #T7), "American Housewife" (2.243 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 0.6, #T7), another "Modern Family" (2.365 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 0.6, #T7) and another "The Goldbergs" (1.983 million viewers, #15; adults 18-49: 0.5, #T13).

And finally, second runs of "Arrow" (0.863 million viewers, #16; adults 18-49: 0.2, #T16) and "DC's Legends of Tomorrow" (0.747 million viewers, #17; adults 18-49: 0.2, #T16) rounded out the night for The CW (0.805 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.2, #5).
