Episode 2 of FOX's THE ORVILLE ranks as the #1 entertainment program of the week and the first broadcast entertainment program in 20 years to outperform The Emmy Awards in Live + 7 ratings for the week of Sept. 11. Seth MacFarlane's new space adventure series earned a 7-day Total Multi-Platform audience of 9.8 million Total Viewers, up +48% from Live + Same day and FOX's most-watched show of the week, according to Nielsen.
Including its Tuesday (9/19) encore, episode 2 of THE ORVILLE delivered 11.7 million Total Viewers across all platforms in the 7-day window.
In addition, FOX's MASTERCHEF hit a season high 2.0/8 L7, gaining two-tenths week-to-week. BEAT SHAZAM (0.9/4 L7) concluded its freshman season with a 1.1/5 L7 average, ranking as the summer's #2 new unscripted series (behind World of Dance).
