Tuesday's Broadcast Ratings: NBC Keeps Demo Crown with "This Is Us"

Here are the highlights of the 16 ad-sustained programs that aired in primetime on the broadcast networks last night (1/23/18):

NBC (7.908 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.9, #1) was the top adults 18-49 draw on Tuesday with originals from "Ellen's Game of Games" (7.522 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 1.8, #2), "This Is Us" (9.329 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 2.5, #1) and "Chicago Med" (6.872 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 1.3, #5).

The silver then went to CBS (11.338 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.3, #2) with new episodes from "NCIS" (13.757 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.5, #3), "Bull" (11.058 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.4, #4) and "NCIS: New Orleans" (9.198 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 1.0, #7).

Next up was FOX (3.426 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.0, #3) with fresh installments of "Lethal Weapon" (4.568 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 1.2, #6), "LA to Vegas" (2.644 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 0.9, #8) and "The Mick" (1.927 million viewers, #16; adults 18-49: 0.7, #T10).

Meanwhile, ABC (2.692 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.7, #T4) opted for repeats of "The Middle" (4.029 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 0.8, #9), "Fresh Off the Boat" (2.706 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 0.6, #T14), "Black-ish" (2.661 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 0.7, #T10), "Modern Family" (2.442 million viewers, #12; adults 18-49: 0.7, #T10) and "Match Game" (2.158 million viewers, #13; adults 18-49: 0.6, #T14).

And finally, a new "The Flash" (2.072 million viewers, #14; adults 18-49: 0.7, #T10) and week two of "Black Lightning" (1.942 million viewers, #15; adults 18-49: 0.6, #T14) rounded out the night on The CW (2.007 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.7, #T4).

· In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 0.7/4; "Late Show," 0.5/3; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.5/3.

· From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.1/4 in metered-market households and a 0.3/2 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.

· From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, ratings were: "Late Night with Seth Meyers," 1.3/5 in metered-market households; CBS's "Late Late Show," 1.2/4 with an encore. In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, averages were: "Late Night," 0.4/4 in 18-49; "Late Late Show," 0.2/2 with an encore.

· At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.7/3 in metered-market households with an encore and a 0.3/3 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.

NBC (7.785 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 2.0, #1) was the demo champ on Tuesday with originals from "The Wall" (6.542 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 1.6, #4), "This Is Us" (9.513 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 2.8, #1) and "Chicago Fire" (7.300 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 1.7, #3).

CBS (12.052 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.4, #2) then was the silver draw with its mix of "NCIS" (16.019 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.9, #2), "Bull" (11.080 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.3, #5) and "NCIS: New Orleans" (9.059 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 1.1, #6).

Next up was FOX (2.811 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 0.9, #3) and new episodes of "New Girl" (2.369 million viewers, #13; adults 18-49: 0.9, #T10), "The Mick" (2.786 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 1.0, #T7) and "Bones" (3.044 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 1.0, #T7).
