Sunday's Broadcast Ratings: "Academy of Country Music Awards" Push CBS in Front

Here are the highlights of the 15 ad-sustained programs that aired in primetime on the broadcast networks last night (4/15/18):

CBS (11.664 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.8, #1) surged to the top spot on Sunday with a new "60 Minutes" (10.415 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.1, #5) followed by "The 53rd Annual Academy of Country Music Awards" (12.081 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 2.1, #1).

ABC (7.122 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.4, #2) then was the silver draw with its mix of "America's Funniest Home Videos" (6.195 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 1.2, #4), "American Idol" (6.255 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 1.3, #3) and the special "A Higher Loyalty: The Comey/Stephanopoulos Interview" (9.783 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.7, #2).
