Sunday's Broadcast Ratings: "Billboard Music Awards" Put NBC on Top in Demos

Here are the highlights of the 15 ad-sustained programs that aired in primetime on the broadcast networks last night (5/20/18):

NBC (6.488 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.8, #1) rose to the top spot on Sunday with "Dateline NBC" (4.996 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 0.9, #T3) and its inaugural telecast of the "2018 Billboard Music Awards" (6.985 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 2.1, #1).

ABC (5.869 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.0, #2) then had to settle for second place with its mix of "America's Funniest Home Videos" (5.303 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 0.9, #T3), "American Idol" (7.431 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 1.3, #2) and "Deception" (3.314 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 0.6, #T13).

Next up was CBS (7.480 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 0.8, #3) and its finale lineup of "60 Minutes" (8.197 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 0.8, #T6), "NCIS: Los Angeles" (7.489 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 0.8, #T6), another "NCIS: Los Angeles" (8.059 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 0.8, #T6) and "Madam Secretary" (6.175 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 0.6, #T13).

And finally, FOX (1.677 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.7, #4) closed out the evening with a repeat "Bob's Burgers" (1.066 million viewers, #15; adults 18-49: 0.4, #15), a new "Bob's Burgers" (1.595 million viewers, #14; adults 18-49: 0.7, #12) and the season finales of "The Simpsons" (2.066 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 0.8, #T6), "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" (1.805 million viewers, #12; adults 18-49: 0.8, #T6), "Family Guy" (1.888 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 0.9, #T3) and "Bob's Burgers" (1.641 million viewers, #13; adults 18-49: 0.8, #T6).
