Thursday's Broadcast Ratings: ABC Tops Viewers, Splits Demos with FOX

Here are the highlights of the 17 ad-sustained programs that aired in primetime on the broadcast networks last night (1/28/21):

ABC (4.697 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 0.6, #T1) was still the top draw on Thursday with its mix of "Celebrity Wheel of Fortune" (6.387 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 0.8, #1), "The Chase" (4.721 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 0.6, #T3) and "The Hustler" (2.983 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 0.5, #T5).

Sharing in the demo honors however was FOX (2.464 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.6, #T1) with originals from "Hell's Kitchen" (2.489 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 0.7, #2), "Call Me Kat" (2.421 million viewers, #13; adults 18-49: 0.6, #T3) and "Last Man Standing" (2.457 million viewers, #12; adults 18-49: 0.4, #T9).

Next up was NBC (2.715 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 0.5, #3) and its lineup of "Mr. Mayor" (3.185 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 0.5, #T5), "Superstore" (1.970 million viewers, #15; adults 18-49: 0.4, #T9), a repeat "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" (2.493 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 0.4, #T9) and "Dateline NBC" (3.075 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 0.5, #T5).

Meanwhile, CBS (3.140 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 0.3, #T4) opted for repeats of "Young Sheldon" (4.649 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 0.5, #T5), another "Young Sheldon" (4.109 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.4, #T9) and "Mom" (3.464 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.3, #T13) plus a new "The Unicorn" (3.056 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 0.3, #T13) and "Star Trek: Discovery" (1.781 million viewers, #16; adults 18-49: 0.2, #T16).

And finally, week two of "Walker" (2.103 million viewers, #14; adults 18-49: 0.3, #T13) and "Legacies" (0.733 million viewers, #17; adults 18-49: 0.2, #T16) rounded out the night on The CW (1.418 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.3, #T4).

CBS (5.243 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 0.6, #T2) remained the most-watched network with its mix of "Young Sheldon" (8.596 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.0, #T2), "The Unicorn" (5.802 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.6, #T9), "Mom" (6.009 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 0.7, #T4), "Carol's Second Act" (4.635 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 0.6, #T9) and the season finale of "Evil" (3.209 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 0.5, #16).
