Tuesday's Broadcast Ratings: Repeat "NCIS" Tops Charts for CBS

Here are the highlights of the 15 ad-sustained programs that aired in primetime on the broadcast networks last night (4/20/21):

CBS (4.734 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 0.4, #T2) remained the top draw on Tuesday despite repeats of "NCIS" (6.200 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 0.5, #T1) and "FBI" (5.544 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 0.5, #T1) plus its "CBS News Special: The Chauvin Verdict" (2.458 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 0.3, #T10).

FOX (2.684 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 0.5, #1) claimed the demo honors with its duo of "The Resident" (3.340 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.5, #T1) and "Prodigal Son" (2.028 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 0.4, #T5).

Next up was NBC (2.600 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 0.4, #T2) and its mix of "Young Rock" (2.621 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 0.5, #T1), "Kenan" (1.903 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 0.3, #T10), a repeat "This Is Us" (2.012 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 0.3, #T10) and "New Amsterdam" (3.527 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 0.4, #T5).

Meanwhile, ABC (2.314 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.4, #T2) offered up originals from "Pooch Perfect" (2.274 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 0.4, #T5), "Black-ish" (1.872 million viewers, #12; adults 18-49: 0.4, #T5), "Mixed-ish" (1.605 million viewers, #13; adults 18-49: 0.3, #T10) and "Big Sky" (2.929 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.4, #T5).

And finally, a repeat "The Flash" (0.416 million viewers, #15; adults 18-49: 0.1, #T14) alongside a new "Supergirl" (0.535 million viewers, #14; adults 18-49: 0.1, #T14) on The CW (0.476 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.1, #5) closed out the night.
