With "Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve with Ryan Seacrest 2022," ABC dominated the final night of 2021, winning all 6 half-hours of primetime and beating runner-up CBS with its holiday lineup by 2.0 million Total Viewers (6.8 million vs. 4.8 million) and by 138% among Adults 18-49 (1.9/13 vs. 0.8/5). In fact, ABC beat the combined deliveries of NBC and CBS with their New Year's Eve programming by 36% in Adults 18-49 (1.9/13 vs. 1.4/9).

ABC grew in each half-hour of primetime, culminating with 9.4 million Total Viewers and a 2.8 rating among Adults 18-49 in the 10:30 p.m. half-hour.

Part 2 of ABC's "Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve with Ryan Seacrest 2022" was the evening's No. 1 program in primetime in both Total Viewers (8.8 million) and Adults 18-49 (2.6/18).

Head-to-head from 8-10 p.m., Part 1 posted triple-digit advantages over NYE programming on CBS (+129% - 1.6/11 vs. 0.7/5 for "New Year's Eve Live: Nashville's Big Bash") and on NBC (+220% - 1.6/11 vs. 0.5/3 for "2021: It's Toast") among Adults 18-49.

"Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve with Ryan Seacrest 2022 - Part 2" (10:00-11:00 p.m. - 8.8 million and 2.6/18 in AD18-49):

Excluding sports programming, ABC's "Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve with Ryan Seacrest 2022 - Part 2" stood as the highest-rated entertainment telecast on any night on any network in primetime this season among Adults 18-49 (2.6/18).

Airing during the final hour of primetime at 10 o'clock, Part 2 towered over NBC's "Miley's New Year's Eve Party" special by 3.0 million Total Viewers (8.8 million vs. 5.8 million from 10:30 p.m.-12:30 a.m.) and by 37% in Adults 18-49 (2.6/18 vs. 1.9/13).
