'20/20' Outperforms 'Dateline' in Both Key Adult Demos for 4th Time in Last 5 Broadcast Seasons
For the second year in a row, "20/20" stood as Friday's No. 1 newsmagazine during the 2022-23 broadcast season and beat NBC's "Dateline" in Total Viewers (+6% - 3.842 million vs. 3.612 million), Adults 18-49 (+7% - 664,000 vs. 623,000) and Adults 25-54 (+4% - 958,000 vs. 918,000), based on Most Current Data. Further, "20/20" outperformed the NBC program in both key Adult demos for the 4th time in the last 5 broadcast seasons.
ABC News' "20/20" is an award-winning primetime program anchored by David Muir. A proven leader as a long-form newsmagazine for over 45 years, "20/20" features unforgettable, character-driven true-crime mysteries, exclusive newsmaker interviews, hard-hitting investigative reports and in-depth coverage of high-profile stories. Janice Johnston is the executive producer. The two-hour "20/20" events air Fridays from 9:01-11:00 p.m. EDT on ABC and are available to stream on ABC News digital platforms and Hulu.
