MEDIA ALERT: NBC TRIUMPHS IN SUMMER FOR NINTH STRAIGHT YEAR
· NBC was #1 this summer and won the broadcast race in total viewers for all primetime programming for the ninth consecutive year.
· In entertainment programming, NBC was #1 in summer in the 18-49 demo (ninth win in the last 11 years).
· Among summer entertainment programming, NBC had four of the top 10 shows: "America's Got Talent" (Tuesday), "America's Got Talent" (Wednesday), "The Blacklist" and "American Ninja Warrior."
· "America's Got Talent" continued its reign as the most-watched entertainment show of the summer for the 10th straight year.
· NBC begins the new fall season on Monday, Sept. 25 with 19 hours of original content, five of which are scripted programming. In addition, the network is the home to the #1 show in all of primetime, "Sunday Night Football."
· New series set to premiere this fall are "The Irrational" (Sept. 25) and "Found" (Oct. 3). Returning series are "Quantum Leap" (Oct. 4), "Magnum P.I." (Oct. 4) and "Transplant" (Oct. 12).
