ABC News' Special coverage for the Papal Conclave Announcement of Pope Leo XIV(12:08-2:00 p.m. EDT) led by "World News Tonight" anchor and managing editor David Muir from the Vatican ranked No. 1 in Total Viewers (3.457 million), Adults 25-54 (615,000) and Adults 18-49 (504,000), based on Live+Same Day Data from Nielsen Media Research. The ABC News special featured reporting and analysis from ABC News Live "Prime" and "World News Tonight" Sunday anchor Linsey Davis, chief international correspondent James Longman, senior national correspondent Terry Moran, foreign correspondent Maggie Rulli, reporters Ines de La Cuetara and Patrick Revell, WABC-TV Eyewitness News anchor Joe Torres, WLS-TV Eyewitness News reporter Liz Nagy, and contributors Father Jim Martin, Father John Wauck and Helen Alvaré.

· ABC News outdelivered its closest competitor, Fox News (12:00-2:00 p.m. EDT), by +5% in Total Viewers (3.457 million vs. 3.295 million), by +5% in Adults 25-54 (615,000 vs. 583,000) and by +11% in Adults 18-49 (504,000 vs. 454,000).

· ABC News outperformed its second-place network competition, CBS (12:08-2:16 p.m. EDT), by double digits in all key target demos: Total Viewers (+14% - 3.457 million vs. 3.020 million), Adults 25-54 (+18% - 615,000 vs. 522,000) and Adults 18-49 (+29% - 504,000 vs. 392,000).
