Plus: The Witcher Season 4 takes on new monsters, and Mango sweeps viewers off their feet.

The Master of Monsters, Academy Award winner Guillermo del Toro, brought us an all-new version of Mary Shelley's gothic novel Frankenstein, and viewers are captivated. The epic drama, filled with handmade craftsmanship at a massive scale, reached No. 1 on the English film list with 29.1 million views, putting the film in the Top 10 in 93 countries and claiming the top spot in 72. Audiences everywhere embraced del Toro's creature, with the film's audience score reaching new heights at 95% on Rotten Tomatoes, and some fans were treated to quite the "lightning" show. The film stars Oscar Isaac as Victor Frankenstein, the obsessive scientist; Jacob Elordi as the iconic Creature; and Mia Goth as Elizabeth, a compassionate woman caught between them.

For more monsters, viewers turned to Season 4 of The Witcher, putting the series at No. 1 on the English TV list with 7.4 million views. In the new season, Liam Hemsworth takes on the role of Geralt of Rivia, the monster hunter for hire, tracking his daughter, Ciri (Freya Allan), who joins a clan of misfits called The Rats, while Yennefer (Anya Chalotra) is back at Aretuza leading the sorceresses in the wake of her mentor's death.

In non-English TV, viewers placed their bets on Rulers of Fortune, putting the Brazilian crime drama at No. 1 with 5.9 million views. In the series, Profeta Moraes (André Lamoglia) is a young man eager to work his way up the ranks of Rio's underground gambling world, but he has no idea how intricate the game of betrayal, lust, and blood of this feuding empire is. Those feeling more romantic opted to watch Mango, the Danish drama about a workaholic hotelier, Lærke (Josephine Park), who travels to Spain with her daughter to check out a new hotel spot and finds that it's a mango orchard owned by the kind and sentimental Alex (Dar Salim), who isn't going to give it up easily. The film took No. 1 on the non-English film list with 5.8 million views.

New love is exciting, but it's the part after the honeymoon phase that makes or breaks a couple, and viewers joined Noah (Adam Brody) and Joanne (Kristen Bell) as they navigate this new era of their relationship in Nobody Wants This Season 2, landing the show at No. 2 on the English TV list with 4.8 million views. At No. 3 (3.4 million views) was Bad Influencer, a new South African drama series about a struggling fashion designer, BK (Jo-Anne Reyneke), who teams up with an influencer, Pinky (Cindy Mahlangu), to sell counterfeit luxury handbags. Traveling back through history, the new series Death by Lightning premiered at No. 5 (3.2 million views) on the list, detailing the fascinating life and death of the 20th US president, James Garfield (Michael Shannon), who was assassinated by Charles Guiteau (Matthew Macfadyen).

KPop Demon Hunters held on tight to the No. 2 spot on the English film list, earning 12.4 million views in its 21st week in the Top 10. A HOUSE OF DYNAMITE, Kathryn Bigelow's nuclear-threat thriller, also continued to captivate audiences, claiming the No. 3 spot in its third week on the list with 10.2 million views. Edward Berger's gambling drama Ballad of a Small Player continues to entice viewers, landing at No. 7 on the list with 4.9 million views. In it, Colin Farrell plays Lord Doyle, a debt-ridden gambler on the run from his past who may have found his salvation in the form of a mysterious casino employee (Fala Chen).

The Asset - a Danish series about an undercover police cadet attempting to infiltrate a drug lord's inner circle - kept thrilling audiences in its second week, nabbing the No. 2 spot of the non-English TV list with 5.3 million views. Physical: Asia didn't let go of the No. 3 spot on the list, with 3.6 million views. The Physical:100 spinoff broadens the fitness competition into a global matchup, with superstar athletes Manny Pacquiao, Yushin Okami, Kim Dong-hyun, Superbon, and Robert Whittaker leading the various teams. Lauded as Netflix's largest and most complex television production in Poland, the drama series Heweliusz grabbed the No. 4 spot with 3.3 million views, portraying the tragic 1993 sinking of the MS Jan Heweliusz ferry and the ensuing trial seeking justice for the families of the victims.

The Woman in the Line jumped to the No. 2 spot on the non-English film list with 4 million views. Based on real events, the Argentinian drama centers on a mother who attempts to free her imprisoned son and finds other women fighting similar battles. Meanwhile, Baramulla debuted in the No. 3 spot on the list with 3.7 million views. The supernatural horror film stars Manav Kaul as a cop who relocates his family to the titular small town to investigate a string of child kidnappings.

The second season of Squid Game: The Challenge launched into the No. 6 spot with 3.2 million views. The competition series, inspired by the hit Korean drama Squid Game, returns with 456 brand-new contestants in those signature green tracksuits, competing in new games with even higher stakes. Bringing in the laughs was Leanne Morgan: Unspeakable Things, which won over audiences in its debut, claiming the No. 7 spot with 3 million views. The Netflix comedy special is the second stand-up event from the star of the Southern family sitcom Leanne, which has been renewed for a second season. Fans of Stranger Things continued to prepare for the impending drop of the new season, as Season 1 of the hit supernatural series took the No. 8 spot on the list with 2.8 million views.
