'Dancing with the Stars' Rises Week to Week With 6.67 Million Total Viewers as Show Heads to Semi-Finals
Milestone Birthday Bash Sets New Record With 55.4 Million Votes
· In a fitting tribute to the show's 20th anniversary, "Dancing with the Stars" was the No. 1 program of the night on Tuesday with 6.67 million Total Viewers and a 1.30 rating among Adults 18-49, lifting ABC to a win for the night with 5.6 million Total Viewers and 0.98 rating among Adults 18-49.
· Rising week to week by +6% in Total Viewers (6.67 million vs. 6.30 million) and by +7% in Adults 18-49 (1.30 rating vs. 1.22 rating), the show was virtually tied in Total Viewers with its season high on "Halloween Night" (6.74 million on 10/28/25).
· This marks the show's best performance for its last episode before the semi-finals among Total Viewers in six years and among Adults 18-49 in eight years - since 11/11/19 and 11/13/17, respectively.
· Head-to-head from 8 to 10 p.m., "Dancing with the Stars" beat its closest competition in the time period by double digits in Total Viewers (+19% - 6.67 million vs. 5.61 million - for CBS crossover night with "NCIS: Origins" and "NCIS") and by triple digits in Adults 18-49 (+217% - 1.30 rating vs. 0.41 rating - for NBC with "NBC NBA Tuesday").
· In fact, "Dancing with the Stars" beat the combined averages of all broadcast competition in the time period in Adults 18-49 (+34% - 1.30 rating vs. 0.97 rating for CBS, NBC, Fox and CW).
· The "Dancing with the Stars" livestream hit an all-time high for the show on Disney+ with +65% increase in hours from the premiere.
· Fan voting hit a new high for the series of 55.4 million votes, rising over the show's previous high on "Halloween Night" (10/28/25).
· "Dancing with the Stars" was the No. 1 most social program on television across broadcast and cable with 3.5 million total social interactions, up +64% over last week (vs. 2.1 million) with the show's best performance since "Dedication Night" on 10/14.
"Dancing with the Stars" returns Tuesday, Nov. 18, for "Prince Night" (airing at 8 p.m. EST/PST on ABC and Disney+, streaming next day on Hulu). The ballroom is turning purple this week as "Dancing with the Stars" pays tribute to one of music's most legendary icons, Prince. Packed with unforgettable performances, each couple will perform two dances to some of Prince's most iconic hits.
