ABC's Hit Drama Dominates as the No. 1 Broadcast Series in Adults 18-49

"High Potential" Season Premiere 9/16/25 (35-day viewing)

· The Season 2 premiere of "High Potential" soared to 21.48 million Total Viewers after 35 days of viewing across ABC, Hulu, Hulu on Disney+ and digital platforms.

· Excluding encores, the premiere earned 17.23 million Total Viewers and a 3.90 rating among Adults 18-49, based on Nielsen cross-platform measurement.

· The premiere grew by double digits over last fall's series debut (+17%; vs. 14.71 million) and paced ahead of the show's Season 1 average (+11%; vs. 15.52 million) among Total Viewers.

· The show's remarkable performance among Total Viewers (17.23 million) led season averages of some of the biggest drama titles of the year among Total Viewers, including Netflix's "Sirens" (+9%; vs. 15.80 million) and Netflix's "The Hunting Wives" (+25%; vs. 13.78 million), and is in line with Amazon's top series, "Reacher" (17.41 million).

· Season to date, the powerhouse drama continues to dominate, ranking as the No. 1 original broadcast series for the second season in a row among Adults 18-49 (2.42 rating), based on Nielsen cross-platform rankings, and growing double digits over last fall's average among Total Viewers (+19% - 12.38 million vs. 10.38 million).

· On linear platforms alone, "High Potential"'s +25% increase over last fall (7.59 million vs. 6.07 million) stands as the largest fall-to-fall gain for a sophomore drama since 2013 (with NBC's "Chicago Fire").

· With ABC claiming the top four shows across platforms among Adults 18-49, "High Potential" far surpasses the top-rated dramas on CBS (+74%; vs. 1.39 rating for "Tracker"), NBC (+112%; vs. 1.14 rating for "Law & Order: SVU") and Fox (+214%; vs. 0.77 rating for "Doc").

· In fact, "High Potential" continues to be the most-streamed broadcast original among both Total Viewers (4.73 million) and Adults 18-49 (1.78 rating), leading the closest drama competition on another network, CBS's "Tracker," by wide margins in Total Viewers (+48%; vs. 3.20 million) and Adults 18-49 (+170%; vs. 0.66 rating).

· In addition to following TV's top-rated entertainment lead-in, Tuesday juggernaut "Dancing with the Stars," "High Potential" draws a substantial 40% of its live audience from other sources, ranking No. 1 among network dramas in this measure for the season.

"High Potential" returns with original episodes on Jan. 6, 2026, in its new 9 p.m. timeslot on ABC (streaming next day on Hulu). "High Potential" is produced by 20th Television.
